I think we should examine what kind of deal the RNC made with the networks for debates, especially after the first CNN debate where the viewership maxed out all recent records and they were able to charge so much for advertising.
I’m guessing that the RNC is now working money deals with prospective purveyors of bias to ‘moderate’ the coming debates. My guess is that in the end, whoever ponies up the most money to the RNC will get the gig. That’s what they’re all about.

I think the candidates should show up for the next debate acting like everything is normal, then come down from behind the podiums, step behind the moderators and ask the crowd for questions. Go around them and act as if they don’t exist. And don’t announce it so that the rats can’t pack the crowd.

Rush has a three hour block each day. He could well afford to cut most commercials that day, shorten the breaks at the top and bottom of the hour for the local stations, and invite the top 5-6 into the station for a debate/discussion he’d moderate/control. And he could let C-span air it.

Yep.... IF Trump gets elected.... many many things about the RNC will change. But that’s still a big if.

.
Thanks for posting the article.
This whole Reince Priebus story is a FRAUD.
CNBC did EXACTLY what the RINO-GOPe "Gansta Establish Washington Cartel" wanted at last Wednesday's GOP Debnate III.
It was scripted far in advance.
Scripted to DESTROY "any and all" Tea Party Christian candidates ...
and leave Yeb Bush, John Kasisch and Marco Rubio (all Pro-Illegal-Invasion-Amnesty) safely on the road to DEFEAT by Hillary Clinton in 2016.
It's a SAD (but revealing day) when the GOP Candidates (not the RNC Chairman) go "nuclear" against the MSM regarding the debates.
Reice Priebus should be FIRED IMMEDIATELY ... and former conservative Texas Congressman Tom Delay should replace him ... ASAP.

That's EXACTLY what Rush Limbaugh will do ... GREAT prediction ...
and what could the RNC say ?
Nothin'
They could tell Prince Priebus that it was no different than an appearance on the Tonight Show.

Who couldn’t see this coming miles away - besides the Republican “leadership”?
Who actually thought Big Leftist Media would actually give Republicans a fair shot, given their 8 years of continually slobbering daily over Obama, ignoring Hillary’s criminality, forcing themselves into debates, etc.etc.?!
Republican “leadership” is truly clueless if they couldn’t see this.

"This should have been dealt with after the Candy Crowley moderation."
And the fact is wasn't show that Priebus never had any intention of changing a thing. In fact he WANTS these kind of debates. He sees them as a useful tool to tear down the conservatives and help insure the success of the CoC controlled establishment hacks. Just like Boehner, he will talk a good game while doing everything he can in the background to maintain the status quo.

This should have been dealt with after the Candy Crowley moderation. A day late and a dollar short by design I say.
So true. Do not be surprised if Rinse agrees to have Candy Crowley moderate a debate during the general election season next year. GOP leadership is so stupid and cowardly, it defies description.
To: Biggirl
The Heritage Foundation would seem like a natural organization to moderate the next Republican debate.

The problem is the RNC will exclude candidates from future official debates if the candidates participate in unsanctioned debates.
The answer is simple. Do it anyway.
What would Donald Trump do?

EXACTLY! WAY overdue. What Crowley did in the Obama/Romney debate was to side with the lies and liars and partisan deception to cover for Obama. Overtly!
