A 112-page internal document provided to U.S. News includes more dirt on Marco Rubio, Iowa vote goals and a January advertising plan.
Even before Jeb Bush's uninspiring debate performance Wednesday night, his sputtering presidential campaign was working to prevent defections.
Bush's top lieutenants convened with donors in sopping wet Houston on Monday to calm their fears and retrench for the unforgiving haul ahead.
After the confab, Bush's team distributed a 45-page PowerPoint presentation to select reporters, summarizing an optimistic view of the race, touting the Republican candidate's cash and organization, and assuring supporters that early polls are rarely indicative of ultimate success.
But in that leak to select media, the campaign purposely left out more than half of what was furnished behind closed doors.
The full presentation, obtained exclusively by U.S. News, spans 112 pages and includes a trove of new details, including Bush's internal polling, his vote goal in Iowa and his advertising plan for January.

What page does it describe how he fizzels out like a fart in a hurricane?
I just want the high lights.
i think he’s on his way out and wants to take rubio with him......if i cant have it neither can you syndrome....in a way i hope he succeeds
What a tacky thing to say.
I, er, agree with you.
every time i see or hear jeb he reminds me of a spoiled rotten teenager the air of entitlement comes through loud and clear
The shame of it is that he
was a pretty decent Florida
governor. But he doesn’t
even look presidential.
Everyone here is forgetting his amazing strategic decision early on. He decided that he needed to ignore the base for the primary...it was necessary. His biggest hurdle then would be to win the most votes, getting less than 10%. But his advisers would handle that...that is just a common core math problem.

CNN was reporting on the 112 page document a couple of days ago. So they have it. Jeb Bush is a timid moron that has about as much a chance of being elected president as my St. Bernard.
Notice the age of those quotes? Cherry picking from the past, after pointing out how quickly a candidates fortuens can change just a few slides earlier. The Jeb campaign hopes the donors have A.D.D.!
P77 - Notable Endorsements includes Land Commissioner George P. Bush. LOL. The RINo contingent of Maine is on the list too, Collings and McKernan (Snowe's husband, part of the "Republican Main Street" group). Orrin Hatch is listed as an endorser too.
Jeb could do cartwheels and juggle at the same time and we still wouldn’t vote for him. The majority of people do not like him and do not want another Bush in the WH. I find him a little creepy even. And attacking Marco Rubio is dumb. Go away, Jebbie.

Weâll begin with what went wrong with the Republican debate in Boulder, Colo., then look at what went wrong with Jeb Bush.
CNBCâs debate moderators have famously come under fire for questions, statements and a tone that were obnoxious. They were. The moderators seemed intent on trivializing the field. When you say, âCandidate A, you have criticized Candidates B and C, turn to them now and tell them why theyâre dopes,â you are presenting yourself as the puppet master and them as puppets. They must either attack their colleagues as instructed and look weak, or push back against the moderator in a way open to charges of defensiveness and cynicism. They canât win. (Though later one did.)

My guess would be intentional...The report has Bush solidly and consistantly in 3rd place in every catagory...According to National polls we see on tv and the internet, Bush is far lower than that...The people need to 'think' Bush is doing well...
The bar for the next debate is set at 2.5%...They likely will keep it low enough to make sure Bush doesn't get eliminated...
LOL...
Which is only fitting....Jeb! did basically the same thing to Terry Schaivo re: pulling the plug
1992 called wanting its media plan back.
Post #30. Excellent diagnosis of a terminally ill campaign. If you are a doctor, can I get an appointment?
