Frank Luntz Focus Group: Cruz's "Don't Trust The Media" Line Went Through The Roof...

A Frank Luntz focus group aired on FOX News' The Kelly File after the CNBC Republican presidential debate agreed: Sen. Ted Cruz hit it out of the park with his warning not to trust the media. Luntz said he's never tested a line that scored as well as Cruz's.

"Megyn, I've been doing this since 1996. This is a special moment. I've never tested in any primary debate a line that scored as well as this. It was all about what was wrong with the CNBC moderators and wrong with the media. The best line of the entire debate," Luntz said.

"The questions asked in this debate illustrate why the American people don't trust the media," Cruz at Wednesday's Republican debate. "Everyone home tonight knows that the moderators have no intention of voting in a Republican primary."

I normally pay no attention to Frank Duntz but thought this was remarkable. Way to go Ted Cruz!

The MSM is the true enemy of conservatives, and is the glue that holds the Left Wing together. Without it, the Left could never advance their agenda.

Yes, the news media is the biggest voice and they do a great job as the Statist’s Stenographers.

But the leftist message is also carried through:
The government-run education system
Television “entertainment”
Hollywood
THE PULPITS in churches and synagogues throughout the country
The courts
Higher education
Corporate America where the “PC” police ensure the leftist agenda is part of the “corporate culture”
Seemingly benign state-run programming like PBS (Propaganda Broadcasting System) and NPR (National Propaganda Radio)

The leftists would still brainwash the citizenry if the news media collapsed. It would be a bit quieter and slower, but not by much.

I stand by my original assertion. Without the MSM pushing the Leftist agenda (i.e. start telling the truth), the whole whole thing comes unglued eventually.

American national elections have increasingly become a mandate AGAINST the MSM.

Now that the MSM is reeling, I think Republicans and Conservatives both need to keep them off balance and remind them about their actual role in American politics.

I agree it would eventually unglue. We as Americans can take on our local churches, schools etc but the national media is much more difficult. If the MSM was defeated these local idiot liberals would have no one to cheer them on or back their lies. The people know that the media are the enemy. Every candidate who shows the impulse to fight them rises in the polls. Just look at Christie. Here’s a guy who has nothing going for him but rose to what prominence he has solely on his truculent attitude with the press.
