Well, you should trust it if you trusted it back in August when this same poll pronounced Trump’s lead sturdy after the first GOP presidential debate. That was an online poll too. Sample size: 278 Republicans, for an MOE of 6.7 percent. A lot of Trump fans at the time declared that de facto proof that the best laid plans of Fox News and Megyn Kelly to sink the unsinkable Trump had failed miserably

Same here. Furthermore, I could go down the street to the marina right now and within 5 minutes find someone that has never heard of Carson. Not possible with Trump.
This is the pushback coming from the establishment to upend Trump using rigged polls.

You nailed it. Carson does not move the needle. To win a popularity contest, which is essentially what the Presidential campaign becomes two days before the general election, YOU MUST MOVE THE NEEDLE.

These polls are being contrived for a narative. They are false.
A sample set of 279 people is NATIONAL poll ( That is not even 6 people per state).What a knee slapping belly laugh joke!!
Any poll that measures anything but individuals intending to vote in a republican primary or intending to attent and vote in a republican caucue is TOTALLY WORTHLESS!!
Carson is not a viable contender. He doen’t have a clue. This is the “Wilder Effect” if it is not totally made up!!
This may change after this budget fiasco. I’m pretty sick of all of them. Someone needs to shake it up and Carson is not the man we need right now. - He’s A good man, but not THE man for the job right now. And I’m an evangelical!

Agree. Moving the needle is critical; Carson doesn’t have what it takes. Love the guy but he doesn’t have the ummph to get past the finish line.

I have been saying all along.
There are no Carson supporters.
Only Trump supporters that either dont want to admit to pollsters they are Trump supporters or who are not quite sure they want to support Trump because of all the nasty things the media is saying about him, but dont really like any of the alternatives, so Carson is a safe place to park while they make up their minds.
If you assume that the polls are correct (a big if?) and there is some movement for Carson you have to wonder why that is. Carson hasn't said or done anything recently to justify movement in his direction. He's been on a book tour! That leaves you wondering what Trump may have done to turn voters off. The only thing I can think of is that these polls are showing some blowback from his 9-11 comments. Especially since they've been characterized as 'Truther' comments, which they certainly are not. If there is movement I think it's temporary and Trump has plenty of time to recover.
what is it with all this small B/S polls about the gun grabbing, social justice, black lives matter, open borders Carson winning. Yes I know the polls in the last two days are B/S , but surely people have or must have woken up by now that the polls have been skewed for years and the media, the establishment, the media,and the Chamber of commerce will do anything to take down anyone who opposes them.
