And a Child shall lead them... http://www.allenbwest.com/2015/10/7th-grader-explains-what-her-teacher-would-do-if-she-didnt-deny-the-existence-of-god/

“Today I was given an assignment in school that questioned my faith and told me that God was not real. Our teacher had started off saying that the assignment had been giving problems all day. We were asked to take a poll to say whether God is fact, opinion or a myth and she told anyone who said fact or opinion was wrong and God was only a myth,” Wooley told board members,” according to EAG News.

The teacher “started telling kids they were completely wrong and that when kids argued we were told we would get in trouble. When I tried to argue, she told me to prove it, and I tried to reference things such as the Bible and stories I have read before from people who have died and went to heaven but came back and told their stories, and she told me both were just things people were doing to get attention.”

You are probably right about most school boards. But I do believe, with some rare exceptions, that an offer of peace so to speak should be made before going to war, either literally or legally.

Why make peace so that those pieces of garbage can just get more stealthy about destroying children?

Why not make it impossible for liberals to hold positions of authority?

Oh, Church and state are still separated, but not by a wall, by a bulldozer blade attached to a machine driven by the state in an attempt to scrape every last vestige of the Christian religion from the public square.

Ask the ‘teacher’ is she/he/it has a soul. If she/he/it says no, then ask why not. Keep the ball in their end of the field. Take the offensive, and offend them.

That is why I said there are exceptions
But I base the thought overall on Scripture. Many times before going to war an offer of peace was made
If the enemy refused they were destroyed when Israel was on God’s side. Also Paul wrote as much as lies within you, if it be possible, live peaceably with all man. And in the great book of Ephesians, being reminded that flesh and blood is not who we war with.

Now, as I said, there are exceptions and each circumstance is its own. Maybe withh prayer and the friendly threat to put the legal fear of God in them you gain some sympathetic ears. Maybe other times you do have to go straight for the jugular. I think that is where prayi and truly knowiu your adversary comes into play.

With all due respect, that has failed since they started this madness. You don’t talk to a leftist. You remove it from authority.

We are at the sell your coat and buy a sword phase of this post-biblical tale.

281 indicates Houston area - I would not have been surprised by this in HISD, but Katy ISD is one of those districts where people move just for the schools & the property prices & taxes reflect that. Hopefully there will be serious pushback on this, & more will lose the illusion of “but my child’s district...” & homeschool.

If ‘not watching football’ rallied crowds to a cause, had rules of engagement, and was organized to attack football games, then yes, it is a sport.

**..far less goodies..**

Yeah, but weeze gotz lotz uh game.

I just shake my head, when I think of the cost of the many sports our small local school district offers. The bussing of teams to matches/games. The coaching salaries. The insurance costs. The uniforms and equipment. Etc.

The fan turnout is good for football and boys basketball. And even then, the A.D. told me over twenty years ago, that the gate receipts don’t even come close to covering half of the expenses of those two sports.

I recall last spring, eating out with the wife at a restaurant. On the big screen tv was the college girls softball playoffs (I think), Auburn versus Tennessee. The camera was careful to not to show how empty the bleachers were, because there was hardly anybody there.

I remember hearing the radio interview of a local high school basketball coach (quite successful), who was retiring at the end of that season. He lamented that it had gotten so time consuming and costly for the parents. Going to camps and tournaments all summer long. He said, “It’s just too much of a drain on everybody”.

Rally to a cause and attack someone does not a religion make.

“If atheism is a religion, then not watching football is a sport.”

Not watching football usually doesn’t involve picketing the stadiums and ridiculing other peoples children if they watch.

Back in the 80s our high screwl nearly had to resort to an austerity budget. They were going to cut the shop classes rather than the sports programs.

Shows you even then where the heads of ‘educators’ and their boards were at. They didn’t seem to grasp the concept of ‘austerity’. too well. And even then, were ready to cut actual education before sports.

Much of the area surrounding Houston has 281 as an area code. Asked for email address for Cobb when I called but person answering phone said there wasn’t one. Was really surprised that someone was answering phone after 5 p.m.

Outlying areas are being occupied by people from Houston and newcomers who were upset by their local politics but bring their garbage with them. Lots of issues with muslims in surrounding areas. We really need for Trump to be elected and build a wall around Houston as well as on the border with Mexico.

Sure it does. All you need is a belief and followers of that belief that elevate that belief to a dogma, not an actual godhead. Likewise liberalism is a religion. Their faith is in leftist ideals and their God is Marx.

Enviros have Gaia and the doctrine that nature is greater than man. They all gather and ritually worship just as any faith does as well.

I understand where you are coming from and do not entirely disagree. Maybe part of my politeness goes back to my upbringing. The thing I guess for me is from my own research I am not sure that is a battle we can win the way you would like to at this point. I am not saying do not try or do not fight. But all of this goes deeper then just the schools. Our enemy has people in education, in the media, in the government, and yes even in the churches. The only way we could even achieve victory at a school level is to mobilize as many Christians and conservatives in our communities as one unit with one objective. Now, if that can be accomplished that is great and I am all for that. But I guess above all else I am more interested in winning souls than any other battle. With that in mind I guess I’m coming from how is that best done how are seeds best planted and how is credibility Best established and protected. That is personally where I am coming from. It is just not so much a flesh and blood battle for me.
