I’m surprised the Steve Jobs movie is a flop. Where are all the Apple fanboys?
I believe the movie shows that Steve Jobes is a pri¢k.
A REAL big pri¢k.
An even bigger pri¢k than FR’s #1 Apple fanboy, if you can ingest that...
Did you see it? I did. It's a good enough movie and grabbed the audience's attention. I'm not sure it's as deep a character study as it claims to be. It was okay. Maybe people needed more than "okay" to go to a movie this weekend.
Downloading bootleg torrents for free?
Speaking of flops, I was on YouTube over the weekend watching clips from Supertrain - that NBC disaster from 1979. Really cheesy stuff. If MS3TK was still active, would love to hear them riff on Supertrain.
Mebbe waiting to watch it on all those expensive gizmos they buy up? Great fun watching it on a wristwatch? That crap has to be good for something after all.
Actually even the fanboys say the movie is a distortion. Some parts are rooted in truth but there is a lot of ...”poetic license.”

IIRC this is the 4th one in the last few years, two being made for TV. Ashton Kutcher did the other made for Big Screen in 2013 “Jobs” Only brought in 16 million, I think it lost money a lot of money after marketing costs.

Watching it on iTunes.
You don’t think we’re going to the cinema to see it, do you?
And AFAIK those ticket sales numbers are from cinema tickets sold, not streaming viewings.
There’s already been several Steve Jobs movies. Not sure why anyone thinks another one would be a hit, especially this many years after he expired. He’s an interesting subject, yes, but not someone to spend many hours re-hashing his life story (which we already know).
They like the product, not the buggery behind it.
