George Soros Is Trying to Influence Local Politics in Caddo Parish, Louisiana
FreedomWorks ^ | October 19, 2015 | C. L. Bryant

Have you ever heard of Shreveport, Louisiana? George Soros has and is evidently concerned enough about the outcome of a District Attorney's race in Caddo Parish to give $256,000 to a PAC in order to effect the outcome of this local election. The question for all of us across the nation is, why?

I offer to you the same possibility that I shared at a press conference in my hometown of Shreveport. Billionaire George Soros is a social engineer in an age where America is susceptible to "progressivism," a cancer that has always been heavily funded by billionaires like Soros to fundamentally change the justice systems and school systems of our nation thus fundamentally changing America.

This change must take root at the local levels with local pawns put in key elected or appointed offices. What does this mean to the local voter? It means the will of your community at the ballot box can be stymied to the point that local courts and educational boards will not reflect your vote or the character of your community but the will of social engineers like George Soros.

What is most telling about the design of progressivism is that the same tactic they have used to shape a mindset of targeted communities over a 50 year span is now the focus not only on the Black or inner city communities but also on communities that have areas with possibilities of falling under total federal control. It is time to ask yourself what outside money is causing the surprise candidates and winners in your local elections? WAKE UP!

TO BE FAIR. This is campaign money. If a populace cares so little about its government affairs that it is wide open to impulse voting at the behest of ad-buyers, there are worse problems than the ad-buyers.

How much money did Soros pay to destroy David Vitter abs cause him to lose to John Edwards by 17 points?

I sincerely hope that his money is spent in vain. Hopefully, corrupt local Democrat operatives will pocket much of it.

That might be a sweet racket, if one had no scruples at least.

Vitter hasn’t lost. That was the primary. The runoff is next month.

To be even fairer, Shreveport went to heck 30 or 40 years ago. Now its more or less an Zimbabwean Governmental project in progress.

Netanyahu exposed the outside influences in their election and I think it helped him win. These other politicians need to make a big deal about outside influence. Unless of course they’re also guilty.

So it’s like Soros is feeding something that doesn’t even need to be fed?

Ok, Vitter did not lose, but came in 17 points behind an unknown Democrat state rep. Vitter even lost Caddo Parish by a two to one margin.

Where did the outside money come from to keep Vitter at only 20%?

I guess if the Koch Brothers can, why not the rich Dems. Its all about winning and Democrats have a dickens of a time in Louisiana winning. Of course they may win the Governorship because we put up a big time loser. but what else is new with the GOP.

Did we know how far and wide the culture of deceit goes in washington? Did we know who all was in that club? Do we know how far they will go to keep their fortress sure?

They had a neat club... all their own... safely controlled.... BEFORE The Donald came on the scene in the political realm.

Spray the fumigate and watch the bugs crawl out. Trump has upset that apple cart far and wide...
Lord, keep Donald Trump safe from harm.

Aside from turning off the electricity and closing the roads, can’t see how Sorass’ $257k is going to do anything more to hurt other than feed another crooked dem politician.

Vitter beat out the other two GOPERS in the election. He and Edwards will face off in November for round two and as with Miss Piggy in 2012 he will beat the donkey party candidate and be the next governor.

Edwards is far from unknown. His father was the sheriff of Tangapahoa Parish for many years. His wife is a big wheel in the teachers union and they support him to the hilt. But the vote breaks the way it now does in La. and in spite of being one of the better donkey party candidates of late he will lose. Lt Gov race is more interesting, a black Dem will face Billy Nungesser (a man with a good bit of baggage) in November. The Dem is also a Chamber of commerce type and mayor of baton Rouge.

Caddo is a majority Dem parish now. Vitter carried it by a plurality in 2010, but still just 48%. Cassidy got 45% in 2014. Vitter wasn’t going to carry it, not in the first round or in the upcoming runoff, so that’s not a surprise. Edwards got 47.57% there, more than 7.5% higher than his statewide 39.9% showing (the total Dem showing there was 51%). Vitter got 24.3%, that’s 1.3% higher than his statewide showing. Combined GOP candidates got 48.2% there, again, that’s nothing out of the ordinary where Caddo is concerned.

That said, I am curious (and troubled) as to what and why Soros (a convicted felon under French law) is doing in screwing around with a local election.

Calling Edwards an “unknown” State Rep is selling him a bit short. Besides the fact he shares a last name with the most infamous Dem politician currently living in LA, as the only credible Dem candidate, he was likely going to consolidate support, which he did. He’s going to get nearly all of the Black vote (good for over 30% right there) and perhaps 25% of the White vote. He’s got the Dems united behind him and the media, too. One reason why they’ve been able to attack Vitter ruthlessly (and exploit the fact that Vitter is running in a divided field of GOP candidates with two credible first-tier opponents in Dardenne and Angelle).

The question now is whether Vitter has any serious problems getting the remaining Republicans on board with his candidacy. Going by turnout on party, he should be able to pull it off, even if by an unimpressive margin. The Dems have problems overall in the state in that they max out above the low to mid 40s%. But it’s on Vitter now to get it done.
