Today is the day. After months, even years of anticipation, former Secretary of State and current Democrat presidential frontrunner Hillary Clinton will testify under oath in front of the Benghazi Select Committee.
Clinton will not only testify about what happened on the night of September 11, 2012, but will be asked a series of questions about her use of a private email server during her time as Secretary of State. Since the Select Committee discovered her private server earlier this year, we've learned Clinton had at least 400 documents considered classified, with at least four deemed top secret, on her server. During a press conference at the UN earlier in March, Clinton denied having any classified information on her server, sent or received. She is under FBI criminal investigation as a result.
In addition long time ally Sidney Blumenthal, who provided faulty intelligence to Clinton during her time at the State Department despite President Obama barring him from working in his administration, will reportedly be a heavy topic of discussion.
Breitbart News has learned that Blumenthal will factor heavily in the Committees questions for Clinton, who utilized the political adviser as her top source of Libya information despite the fact that Blumenthal did not seem to know much about the country.
Clinton, who pushed Blumenthals personal business interests in Libya, relied on intelligence that Blumenthal was getting from former CIA spy Tyler Drumheller. According to email releases, Blumenthal and Drumheller seemed to have been the main source of information, even as Clinton was actively intervening in the nation of Libya.
Over the past few weeks, the Select Committee has come under heavy fire from Democrats after Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy suggested during an interview on Hannity that the Committee was created to bring down Clinton's presidential poll numbers. Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy and Ranking Member Elijah Cummings have been battling for weeks over the disclosure of information and both sides have expressed allegations of politicizing the issue.
This week, Clinton's team has been on offense before her testimony, making repeated efforts to discredit the Committee's credibility.
Hillary Clinton and her supporters are blistering the Benghazi committee ahead of her much-anticipated testimony Thursday, repeatedly questioning the GOP-led investigative panels credibility as the former secretary of state gears up for a potentially confrontational appearance.
On Wednesday, a super PAC supporting Clintons Democratic presidential campaign, Priorities USA, will begin running TV ads aimed at bolstering her image ahead of her appearance before the House Select Committee on Benghazi.
Late last week, Clinton's top aide and long time confidant Huma Abedin appeared before the Committee in a closed door session.
The hearing starts at 10 a.m. et.
With MSM help, she’ll come out on top.
It would be nice if they had something to ask her about that she wasn’t given heads up ahead of time for.
Dems will kiss her butt cheeks and give praise, but no questions beyond how she is holding up to this vast right wing conspiracy.
Yep and HUGE. Already this morning the media is saying that the GOP Congress (not a handful of idiot congressmen)admits the cmte was in place soley to tank Hillary in the polls.
Afraid it’s just gonna be another exercise in pointed questions by Repubs that go unanswered being countered by lib dems saying it’s a witch hunt................not inferring she’s a witch either so don’t go there. :)
I watched two veteran Navy Seals on FNC vow to expose her. When might that happen?
Total waste of time.
Biden bowing out tells it all. The fix is in.
Suck it peasants!!!!
Run out the clock.
I wish Trey would ask her about her operation "Zero Footprint".
I don't have high hopes for anything new today.
Oh, I'm not saying she shouldn't go down. Any ordinary person, or Republican who'd done what she's done, would be on their way to federal prison at this point.
I just don't see our side figuring out how to do it.
Thanks to that GOP moron who blathered about the politics of the investigation, we're f-ed.
The Republicans should have questioned the Commander of the 6th Fleet as to who gave the order to stand down. The 6th Fleet , maintained in the Med at a cost of over $10 billion/year was no doubt monitoring the situation in Benghazi and would under normal circumstances its ships should have been steaming at flank speed toward Benghazi and the on board Marines and Seals should have been preparing to intervene. Someone very high in the Administration ordered them to stand down. Who and why?
Biden bowing out tells us Obama’s FBI will give her a pass; bad judgement, not criminal they’ll say.
You betcha
Obviously there is no honor left in this country.
How many people have died due to HRC’s lust for power/money?
Of all those effected no family member has done anything in retaliation?
Self preservation is the highest goal these days.

The FBI is investigating this, not the Benghazi committee. They may ask why there were NO Benghazi-related emails for two months after the murders took place in the 55K docs she gave to State, but investigating the email/server issue is not the committee's charter. Hilly would love it if the questioning got balled up in this ... you'd here the same cr@p .... it was "allowed", she made a mistake, etc. etc. They MUST stay away from this and press her on why she denied Ambassador Stevens the security he requested, if not begged for ... and why she made a call to the WH, but no calls to DOD or anyone else, trying to get help for those she left to die.
you'd here hear the same cr@p
The slimy eel is difficult to pin down.
A couple of weeks ago, I saw two local blondie newsreaders report that Clinton sent her book to “her GOP rivals.” This was after they read of a controversial comment attributed to Ben Carson and they gave the constipated look of disgust.

I want to know whose idea it was to blame the attack on an incendiary video. Also, is the maker of that video still in jail?
