Repeating the Democratic mantra that President George W. Bush, barely eight months into his presidency on September 11, 2001, was responsible for the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Centers, Donald Trump says his immigration stance would have prevented the atrocity.
On Monday, the mouth that roars told “Fox and Friends that his policies would have made it more difficult for the 9/11 hijackers to obtain visas and challenged presidential rival Jeb. Bush’s assertion that his brother, President George W. Bush “kept us safe”:

Trump specifically said he did not blame Bush....iterated the fact that we were attacked during W.’s presidency.
And may I also point out that the Bush administration hustled,in the dead of night, members of the Saudi royal family out of the country
And went straightaway into war.
And then called islam "a religion of peace."
Spare me.
There was enough blame to go around.
I don’t cout Obama slack for ONE DAY into his presidency, and the same for GWB.
IF you don’t like the fact that what goes wrong on your watch is something you are responsible for then don’t become a president or cel; that’s what the job is about. No love for the presidents on either side of him, but this happened on his watch and people spouting the “only 8 months into his presidency” BS have no credibility IMHO.
Oddly...NO ONE else got hustled out of America on that evening. No one from the House or Senate ever questioned the President....nor any dimwit from the news media. For any of these characters to have called their lobbyists sitting on GW’s staff and get attention like this....a favor....makes GW look like a two-star amateur.
I just find that strange. It's as if they know full well what he was saying but can't bring themselves to admit it.
Even funnier, the lefties don't call him a Truther because they know Truthers make up a significant portion of Hitlery's base and they can't take a chance on Trump siphoning off some of those votes.
No one else could fly.
For several days after 9/11, the only planes that were flying were military AND airliners hustling Saudis out of the U.S.
Once he gets past the primary, he will.
Bush deserves some blame as well IMO.
Everyone who let the rule of law ease based on a President’s whim is at fault.
Congress is at fault in the amnesty’s they have passed in the past as well including the easement of student visa’s as a tool of diplomacy. That shouldn’t have ever happened.

9-11 did, indeed, happen on Bush's watch. Bush did not keep America safe though he made America safer after 9-11.
It seems as if the bushies are trying to imply that 9-11 did not happen in GW's term
Incidentally those 9-11ers got their pilots' licenses in Florida on another Bush's gubernatorial watch.
