Regardless of who may be right or wrong on the current Trump/Bush keeping America safe debate, the bottom line is whose policies would you rather have in place going forward and which will keep America safer? Trump's deport and secure the border policy or Bush's amnesty and open borders?
Trump
Not only Bush’s amnesty policy makes our country less safe, it guarantees permanent majority of liberal voters for a hundred years in future.
Illegals and amnesty is #1 issue in 2016.
Bush’s amnesty and open borders? How about Ronald Reagan’s amnesty and open borders? Lets bash Ronnie a while

We must also recognize that both the United States and Mexico have historically benefited from Mexicans obtaining employment in the United States. A number of our States have special labor needs, and we should take these into account.

So you’d rather go with Jeb’s, Rubio’s, or Hillary’s promises of amnesty?
I have no doubt Trump will do as he says. He is in the private sector, where you have to do things, not just talk.
Definitely Trump. He went for Bush’s jugular on this issue.
Youse gots the TDS BAD...
No thanks. I won’t be bashing Reagan. BTW, I could be wrong, but I seem to remember Reagan regretting his amnesty decision. Something about the democrats not following through with their part of the agreement.
What a great catch!
“Trump responds: The Wall Street Journal was sold to Rupert Murdock for $5 billion and is now worth $500 million. I dont need the WSJ to be lecturing me.
You are right about Reagan
Politicians do respond to the will of the people eventually (well some do)
GW Bush lost his immigration battle and a fence project was started.
They just need the will to finish it (and of course more $)
Secure the borders - "build the damned" wall! (to quote the lyin' king, John McCain!)
“Resentment is like drinking poison and waiting for the other person to die.”
Clinton did wholesale firings the first day he took office, Bush should have done the same. The fact he could not his appointments through congress immediately did not mean he should have kept the incompetent treacherous traitorous Clinton staff in place. He should have had enough staff hired and ready to go before he took office, and fired every single member of the higher level Clinton hires immediately, especially Justice and National Security. It was inexcusable, and it was his duty to have this done, no matter how difficult. I remember a lot of people questioned this at the time, and wondered why he did not, and there quite a few editorials in non-leftist publications as well. It was if Al Gore had been elected, everything stayed the same. Bush shares some responsibility for the WTC, although most of the blame belongs to Clinton.
And voting for A liberal like Trump and expecting him to save America is like mainlining stupidity.
If Trump achieves just part of what he says he’ll do it will be a second rennaisance for America. If jeb gets his way, “Hasta la vista, America” and if Hillary or Bernie get the job it’s “nice knowin’ ya, tovarisch...”
What about Romney’s long-healed leftist views? Did you vote for Romney?
AND he sat on the border to Iraq for a long time, while everything that was there was moved out of country, then when we go in, the borders are wide open, letting anything and everything in and out. FAIL.
The resentment is strong, isn’t it?
Or so says Yebbie.
Yebbie must love to kill and rob and traffic in drugs.
Trump all the way.
Nope, Try again little fella.
You people crack me up. You slap your gums together in endless false outrage of the GOPe betrayal of conservatives and then demand everybody betray conservatism. Nuthin but a bunch of Boehner clones.
