NBC is under increasing pressure to nix GOP presidential candidate Donald J. Trump’s scheduled appearance as host of “Saturday Night Live” early next month, as immigrant-rights groups attempt to flex their economic muscle in what they’re calling the “Dump Trump” petition drive.
America’s Voice, a leading advocacy, and MoveOn.org, a liberal pressure group, have teamed up for the campaign, saying Friday that NBC is giving a platform to Mr. Trump’s immigration plans, which the groups described as “one of the worst humanitarian atrocities in modern history.”
“It is appalling to see NBC and ‘Saturday Night Live’ give essentially free campaign ad time to a candidate intent on spewing anti-immigrant hate,” said Alejandro Chavez, a campaign organizer at MoveOn.org.
NBC has yet to respond to the complaints, which are spreading after this week’s announcement that Mr. Trump will host the Nov. 7 episode of the late-night comedy program.

It would be hilarious if NBC knuckles under to a handful of leftist haters and dumps Trump. The blowback would be huge, and even the left would have to condemn NBC. It won’t happen.

Not going to happen. SNL is not dumb. They have paid particular attention to rating spikes of other networks. SNL stands to get the best ratings it has has in decades; NO WAY they pass that up for a few hardcore leftists; no way. I hope Trump goes OVERBOARD too..

It is a new day. PC is so yesterday. These groups are finding America taking a stand against them and this is only the beginning.
Trump essentially says “Obey the law. Enforce existing immigration laws.” For that, illegal invaders in OUR country threaten a major broadcaster which is very likely to cave in to their demands instead of telling them to go get stuffed. Where is the common sense and spine?
Remember that article recently posted that mentioned how little Trump has to spend on advertising?
