Thanks for the link. I just read the article. Everybody should read. It's a real good explanation of the US strategy behind that weapons dump.
Does it amount to the US arming both sides? Or is it a shift away from Turkey, Saudi, and those who enable ISIS?

Arming both sides in any conflict - good for the armaments industry and the weapons brokers, but deadly for just about everybody else involved.
The earlier stories abut the weapons drop, were from Reuters, a “news” organization notorious for disinformation. I consider Bloomberg only a little less biased, but not inclined to post news that is any more favorable to the cause of truth and reality.

Turkey is still a NATO ally.
Doubtful on that.

U.S. Airdrop in Syria Ends Up Arming the Kurds You say that like it's a bad thing.
To: DoodleDawg
I didn’t say it. It’s a headline. What the story proves, though, is that administration misrepresented what they’d done.

It seems like the American government is contorting itself in an attempt to remain relevant in Syria.
Why can’t they just stop meddling in these conflicts altogether?

In addition, the YPG itself has acknowledged that it is participating in a new alliance with Sunni Arab and Syrian Christian groups known as the Democratic Forces of Syria. Why are we not helping THIS SIDE????...

Something else, NOTHING said in this article is of any real value. The U.S. has been giving meagre support to the Kurds YPG inclusive, even the Peshmerga, ever since “ISIS” raised its ugly head in the media. And that’s just the tip of the proverbial iceberg. Got to do much better.

Anyone want to guess on what Russia will do now? Haven’t they been killing Kurds?
