I was thinking similar. The star may have huge rings of rocky debris around it, not just one like ours. And they may not all be in the same plane, so they would line up at different times and different thicknesses...........................

Why don’t we send illegals and Syrian refugees there to investigate that for all of us?

There are no aliens. I throw Satan and the fallen angels into the category of 'aliens'. But I agree - those are it. Just the Triune Creator God, us, the good angels, and evil angels...

Many extraterrestrial superpowers want their solar system to appear as if it is pulsing brighter and dimmer when viewed from afar 1,500 years in the future.
It’s their way of playing a trick on less advanced worlds.

You were right when you said on your show last night that this story would start filtering into the mainstream news. Washington Post=mainstream news.
However, I think you were incorrect in your speculation that it would eventually find its way into cable news. I don’t believe that will happen. We shall see, old friend. In either case, it’s fun to watch.

When humans run across something they can't explain, they attribute it to ghosts, gods - or aliens. Looks like a rather stringent process in support of their conclusion.
