House Speaker John Boehner is signaling that he’ll move must-do legislation to increase the government’s borrowing cap before he leaves Capitol Hill.
The statutory cap on the government’s so-called debt limit needs to be raised by early November, the Congressional Budget Office said Wednesday, confirming a recent warning from the administration.
Boehner himself has said that he doesn’t want to leave a “dirty barn” for his successor, comments that have been widely interpreted as a promise that he would try to at least clear away the debt limit issue rather than saddle the next speaker with the task. …

Sovereign nations debts are constantly increasing along with the loan payments to the financial services industry-banks.
My country is like a credit card customer constantly having its credit limit increased and its monthly payments being forced up.
As a result, either programs will be cut or taxes increased to make the bankers we owe happy.
But the credit ratings agencies will applaud Boehner’s actions to increase debt again because it will keep America’s credit rating looking good.
This is insanity.
Balance the budget now, no more debt, no more increases in loan payments to the moneychangers.
This “Freedom Caucus” should be in total revolt now instead of just nominating its candidate for Speaker and sitting on its hands.
They should all 40 of them revolt against Boehner’s leadership and force Boehner to step down or depend on Democrats to hold his chair.
