**SNIP**

"I was like, 'I've had it,'" she said. "I said to my husband, 'I've got to do something. This is the one thing that I need to say something about. This is my responsibility as a parent.'"

The actress said she went through her address book alphabetically to ask who wanted to be involved.

The 80 Hollywood stars have signed a pledge that reads: "By signing our names to this statement, we commit to use our creativity and visibility in the months ahead to help drive real change.

"While these are just the first steps, we pledge to use our voices wherever and whenever we can, doing our part to help mobilise more Americans to help save lives from gun violence."

Members of the council will invite their fans to get involved and participating in Everytown events, including brainstorming new approaches to grow the gun violence prevention movement.

OK so here’s an idea, perhaps these celebrities need to get rid of their armed guards, the ones that protect these sorry excuses for human beings and see how they like walking around UNARMED like the rest of us

First of all, “stars” aren’t creative. They do what they’re told and speak what someone else wrote. Jason Robards said “It ain’t rocket science.”

Second, Ms. Moore could turn her profile to any thug and he’d run like hell. That woman is ugly from the side view.

That’s it! I’ve had enough. I’ve got to do something. I’m going to name my next band The Red Carpet Massacres.

Come on, Julianne, remind us by how many different means did people die in your latest Hunger Games movie.

You know what sucks Libloather, Ms Moore is going off half cocked and will be a useful idiot while real work is being done that could be meaningful and what she does just might fubar what is in process....

I had no idea this Congressman existed or was doing this. He is Timothy Murphy from PA (R) and has had prominent career as a physiologist and author in this arena.

He has looked at the problem of gun violence and the over 100 gov't organizations that should have an impact or stop it and haven't. As he says in the link below ( note 2 hr interview on CSPAN ) that these Orgs are dysfunctional and he has come up with a bill that addresses a lot of the problems and had 130 cosponsors so far and has the "Murphy" from CT promoting in the Senate.

http://www.c-span.org/video/?328618-1/national-journal-forum-mental-health-care

Watch the video, I was under the weather and found this interview while mending and I was stunned that this is getting no airplay. Congressman Murphy says the grassroots activist with mentally ill loved ones are building up steam for it.

We need to watch the various interviews on CSPAN with Congressman Murphy and perhaps talk this up. Everyone is on a screed that to further restrict the 2nd amendment whilst the real problem is our mental health care system much of which has not been fixed under Obama.

If I was a Hollywood celebrity, the last thing I’d get involved is leftist politics.

I believe it is job security for them, proving they are "worthy". That's also my reasoning behind some of their more off-the-wall anti-gun statements they make - proving their street creds to those who hire them.

I’m doing my part. I’ve eliminated those 80 Hollywood stars from anything and everything “creative” that they’ve already done and continue to do. It wan’t a difficult choice to make. Saw a film that co-starred one of them on my Netflix queue this week and deleted the film for future watching - it’s as easy as that.

Just another clueless, emotional Hollyweird ho who doesn’t know what the hell she is talking about.

Meanwhile, she supported Barack Obama for president in 2008 and 2012. Barack Obama, the president who “walked” guns across the U.S. - Mexican border, resulting in the deaths of hundreds of innocent people, including Border Patrol agent Brian Terry and a Mexican Beauty queen.

Barack Obama, who is enabling Iran to get the biggest “guns” of them all.....nuclear weapons.

Way to go, idiot Julianne.

Hey, I have an idea! Juliana & Co., ya’ll all need to sign a pledge to never appear in a violent movie or a movie with a gun in it. Absent that, then you’re little group is nothing more than a bunch of ordinary, garden-variety hypocrites.

Sounds like a 1968 leftover who went anti-gun AFTER the murder of Bobby Kennedy. Almost ALL TV shows took a serious anti-gun course and were filled with anti-gun statements. Script writers filled the mouths of actors with the most anti-gun drivel I have ever seen on TV.

So Julianne, for your next action adventure movie, I expect you to point your finger at the bad guy and say “pew, pew, pew”.

Did they swear off all roles where their character uses guns?

Did they all get rid of their personal firearms?

Did they vow not to use security that uses guns?

She is old and not getting parts anymore, this puts her in print and gets publicity. She is moving onto phase 2 of her career.

That’s fine. They can give up their armed security. And then all 80 of them can line up to KMA.
