It is no secret whatsoever that Donald Trumps on-off wars with Fox News have a great deal to do with how he feels about the treatment he has gotten from Megyn Kelly.
While the Kelly File host has largely been shrugging off the shade and saying a war with the plutocrat was never her intention, she offered commentary on the feud while speaking today at Fortunes Most Powerful Women summit.
Its clear we may have overestimated his anger-management skills, Kelly said. It is not as though I didnt anticipate that he might not like that question because he had already made clear that he didnt like to be tested in certain ways.
Kelly went on to say that she didnt single Trump out, arguing that she asked the other candidates tough questions, and that she must, as a journalist, ask questions on electability and see how the frontrunner would respond to critics.
Thats what I get paid to do: anticipate the candidates weaknesses and poke them, Kelly said. You dont want to embarrass anyone with their weaknesses, but by the same token, these people want George Washingtons job.
She forgot to mention that she overestimated her own likability.
Does anyone actually still believe that Trump and Fox are feuding?? Trump said he was boycotting, and since then has been on Fox multiple times? Trump didn’t do as well in the second debate, without Megyn Kelly to tailor questions to him.
“Kelly went on to say that she didnt single Trump out, “
—
Bunk.
Total bunk. I watched her personally attempt to slime Trump.
He held his own, but I lost all respect for Kelly that day. And I have lost all respect for Fox, because of it.
I no longer watch the network.
At all.
She is abwhoreant.
Ailes and Trump patched it up a week ago.
I’m not even (necessarily) a Trump supporter. But my thought is, “It’s taken her all this time to work up this response!”.
She’s starting to sound like Hillary.
I hope MK has a miserable time at CNN/? reporting on President Trump for 8 years and president Cruz for 8 years.
Do you honestly believe that? There was never any feud, it's all so much reality TV theater.
Looking at Trump’s comments on the democrat debate tonight. I 90 minutes Trump has gained 120,000 candidates. Looks like he is a lot more popular than Kelly.
I think Trump’s anger management skills are just fine. Kelly is the resentful bitch who cannot let it go.
Instead she asked him a question about celebrity feuds and personal insults - which TRUMP loves to answer.
Of all ten candidates, Megyn Kelly only threw one a fastball over the plate. She only catered to one candidates needs in that debate. Trump's.
Can you disagree with anything I wrote above?
she still on tv?
or is she still posing half naked every now and then?
So true. She tried to pull off a 'concern troll' move with her question about him being anti-woman, asking him how he will handle it when the lib dems attack him on it.
But before she could finish the question/attack, he destroyed her argument by blurting out "Only to Rosie O'Donnell", which made the audience laugh at her.
she was clearly pissed and hurt, but then her true rude radical-feminist face revealed itself, and she angrilly asked him the rest of her question/attack.
He held his own, but I lost all respect for Kelly that day. And I have lost all respect for Fox, because of it.
Yes, his counter attack was quick and decisive, pointing out that kelly was being politically correct.
Prior to the debate, I was a fan of megyn and her show. But I too lost all respect for both megyn and fox that night and haven't watched them since.
And I overestimated Kelly’s ability to keep her sluttiness in abeyance.
megyn is whoreifying.
Many of us may have over estimated Kelly’s skills as a journalist.
She is a hack. Nothing more.
I'm sure megyn's psychotherapist is regulating both the rate and frequency in which she should decompress her inner rage against Trump.
Thank goodness for megyn she doesn't look like hellery.
But she has to work on the cackle and the shrillness.
I actually think megyn is effective when she gets angry. Not so for hellery.
Yes, I doubt cnn/? will promote her as strongly as Ailes/Hume/O'Reilly have promoted her at FNN.
She is too centrist-right for cnn's/msnbc's taste.
