FULL TITLE: BOOM ! Trump Dominates Amid Republican Primary Voters – CBS Poll: Trump Is “The Most Electable” Candidate…

CBS has another National Poll reflecting Donald Trump with a substantive lead over the entire field of GOP candidates (Full Poll pdf below). However, beyond the leading support numbers Republican Primary Voters were asked this question:

Q17. Regardless of how you intend to vote in 2016, which one of these Republican presidential candidates do you think has the best chance of winning the general election in November 2016?

( FULL POLL DATA ) ( FULL POLL DATA )

BOOM !! That essential and critical question/answer destroys the GOPe (establishment) talking point of “electability“. By a stunning margin the Republican Primary Voter view Donald Trump as the best candidate to win in 2016. Stick that in your pipe George Will and Karl Rove!

The more general question of who do you support in the primary reveals a rather interesting dynamic when contrast against the question above.

Less people think Ben Carson can win in November of 2016 than currently support him in the primary. (This shows a VERY weak quishy support base) More people think Rubio, Bush and Fiorina could win in November 2016 than currently support them in the primary. (The “Hold Your Nose” Coalition) However, a significant number think Donald Trump is uniquely positioned to win in the general election November ’16, BEYOND their primary support. (The “Glorious Bastard/Vulgarian” *Coalition) {{ *Note* That’s me raising my hand and waving from the back of the room }}

Here’s the customary “who do you support” question responses:

If he doesn’t win conservatives have lost their butts anyway, for good. I will take my chances with a bite to the butt rather than the entire thing chewed off sharia style!

I will never EVER vote for a lying liberal bottom feeder like Trump.

So you're sticking with your puppet candidate?

Charlie Cook - that fat old monkey of the liberal crazies - thinks Trump’s not going anywhere... He was on Morning Joe - embarrassing himself with 3rd grade logic - ranting on about how Republicans are angry. Maybe he should look at the audiences showing up for Trump and Carson... they sure don’t look angry to me...

"they polled me for this. said I supported Cruz but thought Trump would win.

The Cruzers will now be selecting a tall tree and a short rope for you.

I am not particularly anti-Trump.

I actually have a lot of good things to say about him, inclusive of what you said, I just don't want to be all starry eyed, believing he's going to reflexively govern as a conservative.

I think just about anybody could beat Hillary if she is the Rat nominee (which I doubt will happen) she is a horrible candidate. But you are right we need to win big to have a mandate. Trump has the best chance of a big win.

The truth of the matter is unless something big shakes up the race, the nomination is Trumps to lose at this point.

And I acknowledge this as a strong Cruz supporter.

And I honestly don’t know what could shake up the race.

Had a chuckle watching CNN push the Dem debate this morning.

Commentator Julian Epstein (pro-Hillary) claimed that a recent poll showing Hillary in decline had a margin of error of — 10%!

==

10%??????

That would make nearly everyone in the country ‘inclusive’.

The main thing Trump has going for him right now is that he is not bought and paid for.

Look at all of the other candidates. They run toward what their money-backers want and they flee what their money-backers do not want.

You can follow that right down the line on nearly every major issue.

How many ‘different’ stands have, for example regarding illegals, been taken by the current crop of politicians. Yet, under close examination they end up being so similar (pro-amnesty) that they are basically indistinguishable.

Because he isn’t relying on money-backer, look at how many real issues Trump has managed to bring to the forefront.

At least he has those in his favor.

[I initially thought his campaign was nothing more than a publicity stunt. As his campaigning gets better, I am liking him more. But look at his bought-and-paid-for competition. Another Bush? AmnestyRubio? Dr-I-can-screw-Afghanistan-up-worse-than-Obama? Or any from the early debate stage, most of whose names escapement at the moment.]

I want a wall. I want this one issue solved. It won’t be solved with anyone else. Trump knows this is the deal he has made with the American people.

You can kiss your conservative principles goodbye if you think the marxist plan to overtake the American electorate with the massive influx of illegal immigrants and refugees from around the world who are being showered with entitlement benefits are going to EVER vote conservative, EVER going to understand what it means to be an American. Heck, our current President doesn’t have a clue.

Trump’s conservatism trumps all other candidates on this one issue alone.

Join us or get out of the way, traitor.

It always amazes me how any thinking American that wants to preserve a Constitutional form of government could even contemplate voting for anyone other than Trump.

Only Trump says he will enforce existing law and deport illegals already here. No one other candidate say that. They all have this or that plan, all of which include some type of amnesty for illegals. Every damn one including Cruz.

With 20 to 30 million illegals already here any type of amnesty means 10's of millions of new Marxist voters. That gives the Marxist Rats a super majority for generations. American conservatism is dead, on the ash heap of history if Trump is not elected this cycle. This cycle, already in Calf illegals have via motor voter laws been given the right to vote.

If you are a no way I will vote Trump conservative you are a fool.

Didn’t I recently hear you belly aching on a Cruz related thread about all the Trump supporters supposedly crashing all the Cruz threads and trashing Cruz - as if you were above it all?

Yup. I didn’t crash your little worship service, I made a single statement and all you little bedwetting liberals went rabid. I don’t have any problem with you ignoring me if you think you can.

If you would like (have the stones) come on over to this thread and tell us how great it is that Saint Donnie is going to go hang out with his liberal friends.

The Cruzettes are in panic mode. They can’t resist jumping on the Trump threads to do their little snipes. It’s become an obsession.

Reminds me of that gif of Hellary hitting the Trump poster and running off.

land line phone. I get polled quite often. I live in a inner city area where few people live and have a land line phone to boot.
