Cobb Countians who attended Donald Trumps Saturday campaign stop said they left impressed and inspired by the billionaire presidential hopeful.
Lew Stafford of east Cobb, a Cobb Superior Court deputy clerk, said he hasnt decided who to vote for, but hes a fan of Trump.
I think we can count on Donald Trump to pick some of the best Supreme Court justices, Stafford said. I think he would do well in negotiating with other countries like Russia. I think he would help keep America safe. I think he would have common sense as far as legislation he pushes.
Debra Lieb of Marietta, a musician, came away from the rally with an autographed red hat.
Hes just so inspiring, Lieb said. Hes exactly what we need. Someone who can work independently and give all the people what we need as far as building the economy and that type of thing. Every aspect of what he wants to do I agree with 300 percent.
Wanda Becker of east Cobb, who works in the Cobb School Districts accountability and research department, said one of her favorite things about Trump is that hes self-funding his campaign.
He cant be bought, Becker said. It leaves him free. He owes no one.
Becker said Trump brings an energy to the race that gives her hope.
He says things that others wont say and things that have got to be addressed, she said. He has a track record in life that is desperately needed. His talents are desperately needed as the leader of our country, and I dont see him as being just a figurehead.

I think even Trump realizes that the enthusiasm isn’t just for him. It’s for the movement itself and the idea that America can be saved from the evil liberals.
One of his wives is from Georgia.
Exactly....the adulations and support is that he's saying exactly what people are thinking. In effect, the crowds are cheering on themselves.
Still, I sometimes feel sorrow for Trump....b/c the weight of the world is resting on his shoulders. He's already receiving letters from far-off places cheering him on b/c these global leaders are also depending on him.
We were there with friends. It was packed to the gills and about 90 degrees. We were pretty close about 100 ft from the stage. People were standing out in the front parking lot that couldn’t get in. They had a southern rock band that was great. They were playing before Trump came out. When he took the stage it was pandemonium.
There were a lot of young people there which did my heart good and a good many Blacks.
Trump mocked the press and dared them to pan the room. Of course they won’t. They don’t want the country to see how crowded it really is. I mean wall to wall.
We went around the side of the building afterward where the Trump fleet was parked and waited for him to come out the side door. He was so accessible signing autographs and taking pics and shaking hands. I thought the security was woefully lacking. Nobody in their right mind would do this for fun or ego. He’s the real meal deal.
I saw the pictures. I think his daughter Tiffiny was there.
Her mother is Marla Maples.
In one of the photos there is a blonde woman in the right rear of the photo
that depiction is the definition of “statuesque blonde”
It’s really true when he says the ‘Silent Majority’ is now the ‘Noisy Majority’!
I approached vetting Donald Trump a few months back and I expected to find a liar, a mobster, a no-good New Yorker who will say anything to get his way.
Instead, I found this:
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/bloggers/3330070/posts?page=86#79
That finding and a hundred other patriotic things about Donald Trump more than closed the deal for me.
Vetting process is so over! But I hope you catch up soon and thank Our Lord for what America needs so much at this precise moment!
Nice!
I read three of his books, read every news article I could find, followed other Freepers comments, and decided he was the one that most closely aligned with my thinking of what this country needs.
I still like Cruz a lot and hope he is Trumps VP but we need more than a politician, however conservative he might be, at this time in our history.
People talk about Trump flip flopping on the issues but if you read his books you can see clearly that he has the same theme running throughout his life.
1. He believes in family.
2. He believes in people and their abilities. .
3. He believes in law and order. He believes laws should be followed and punished if they are not. .
4. He believes in a strong military but does not want to take military action if it is not necessary. .
5. He believes in education. He thinks schools are cheating our kids. .
6. He believes in borders and granting citizenship only to those who would be a plus to our country as a whole. .
7. He believes that people should pull their own weight and government programs should be temporary except for the disabled and elderly. .
8. He believes in keeping Social Security and Medicare. .
9. He believes in taking care of our Vets. .
10. He believes our country should be treated fairly in any agreement we have with other countries. .
11. He believes that people should have health insurance. He formerly believed that single payer was a good idea but after Obamacare passed he changed his mind and now believes that competition and tort reform are the answer to the problem. He does believe that the poor should be helped but thinks there are better ways to do it than Obamacare. .
He makes no mention in his books about social issues so I take him at his word that he has changed his opinion on abortion.
I believe he is loyal and will listen to those who elect him if he wins. I think he will repay our support of him with following through with defunding PP. We have had his back and I believe he will have ours.
He is not a politician and he is not an ideologue. He is a person who cares deeply about his country and his fellow citizens. In other words, he is pretty much like us.
Absolutely, but exactly what kind of “Movement”?

Thank you for your well researched analysis. Donald Trump is a good man and an American Patriot. America would be well served with him as POTUS.
I have heard him say in a number of speeches that this is not about him but about a movement. So what are you saying?
