Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson defended his controversial remarks this morning in which he suggested that 6 million Jews would not have been slaughtered if they had easy access to guns.
I think the likelihood of Hitler being able to accomplish his goals would have been greatly diminished if the people had been armed, Carson said on CNN Thursday. Im telling you there is a reason these dictatorial people take guns first."
The Anti-Defamation League condemned the comments, saying in a statement: Ben Carson has a right to his views on gun control, but the notion that Hitlers gun-control policy contributed to the Holocaust is historically inaccurate. The small number of personal firearms available to Germanys Jews in 1938 could in no way have stopped the totalitarian power of the Nazi German state.
Carson called the Anti-Defamation Leagues statement this morning total foolishness.

WW2 was hell on earth.
Thanks for the post/ping.
Those who forget (actual) history, are doomed to repeat...is what comes to mind.
FWIW - The correct order of gun control experts is: Mao, Stalin, Hitler, followed by all the rest.
And the left’s beloved Che had a window made in his office so he could look out an watch the executions live.
Gun control is not about controlling guns. Its about eliminating enemies en mass ... ask Mao, who made mass killing a refined art.
Ben Carson is 1000 percent right..if Jews had guns during the Holocaust it would never have happened..why do you think Hitler wanted Jews to be disarmed so badly and why the left supports disarmament, because like Hitler said “the only way to control a nation is to disarm its citizens”
That post is inaccurate
You have no idea how many Germans supported exterminating all European Jewry and neither do I really
Few knew the extent of the Final Solution....they were not privvy to Wannassee.....unless they lived near a camp and even they refused to believe what they were hearing....and smelling....they could not have known the extent
Deporting or Segregating them likely had strong support
Guns had to have helped
It’s better than being on your knees
But truth is many Jews simply could not believe the rumours they were hearing even till 43 or so
Some maybe into 44
I think most knew they were in trouble few dreamed what happened would happen
The proxy SS in occupied countries were more clumsy and open about it
Einsatzgruppen
In Hungary and the Baltic states and Croatia and Ukraine...still a Nazi hotbed....you had to know pretty fast after German occupation that you better run
Every dictatorship of whatever flavor wants the populace means to fight back
The left here in the US is no different
Some Jews in ghettos who could get arms did fight back....even if Quixotic it’s far better than just lining up to be murdered
Warsaw
Vilnius
There is no group that is not better off with the means to defend themselves
It’s not the Jews fault they didn’t fight back same as say Scots or Commanches might have
Theirs was an urban intellectual tradition but with notable exceptions and some sure as hell fought it all
I can tell you men with families in an occupation zone with a heavy hand targeting your demographic your first concern is to get your family out or safe and in late 30s Germany they lived amongst the Germans and thought themselves rather German too
By the time you realize the grip of terror you’re in....it’s too late
That’s what’s scary about a new civil war on our soil
It could be the worst bloodshed in human history
And most people in our quiet lives won’t know what hit them
Just like the Jews in Europe in the 30s
But you learn like Israel has and you stay armed
It’s your best shot

Only even Salon admits that the Jews and other “undesirables” were indeed prohibited from owning firearms. Well, duh! Without a means of defending themselves, they were herded into railroad cars and taken to concentration camps.
Radically, Salon contradicts its own arguments. And arguing with a lib is taxing.
I laugh and tell them they are mind-numbed leftwing robots who parrot whatever their masters direct them to jabber.
And that they are retards.
They never come near me again.
Unfortunately, I’m surrounded by libs. Can’t get away from them. :)
Well proven by the fact that Israel still exists.
The thugs killing thousands in America are the self appointed apparatchiks of the illegal drug industry. They are the judge, jury and executioners in what is called street justice. They are Zer0’s friends because when he was in Chicago, he was associating with the Black Gangland Disciples. Was he getting drugs for his legal advice? Someone out there knows.
Great post. Thanks.
They were called the Black Gangster Disciples. My error.
Great post!
That last picture is probably what the classroom at UCC looked like.
I was just reading where the witness that received the package from the shooter said everyone was on the floor and the shooter went one-by-one, having them stand and then shot them after asking their religion.
The shooter stopped to reload his two pistols! And then was shot by police.
The folks at ABC should be SHOT for this LYING HEADLINE.
It is ABC who is defending Hitler.
Carson is defending the Second Ammendment!
Great comment.
When the Rumanian writer Stefan Baciu visited Cuba, Che Guevara invited him to be present at an execution. Baciu has made reference a few times to this macabre invitation, the last time in his poem:
Neither I have to accompany him to see how people are shot at the wall in la Cabaña.
I DO NOT SING TO CHE,
Neither I have sung to Stalin
with Che I spoke enough in Mexico,
and in Havana he invited me,
biting the cigar between the lips,
like inviting somebody to a drink in the bar, he asked
to accompany him to see how people are shot at the wall in la Cabaña.
I did not sung to Stalin;
let Neruda, Guillen and Cortazar sing to him;
they sing to Che (the singers of Stalin),
I sing to the youth of Czechoslovakia .
Stefan Baciu (Rumania 1918 - 1993)
From his book Iron Curtain over Cuba.(1961)
But the mass-executioner gets a standing ovation by the same people in the U.S who opposes capital punishment.
(Pope Francis also opposes capital punishment in U.s; but in Cuba, by kipping silent, he approved Castro’s infamous firing squads, even though hundreds of Catholics martyrs were executed by el Che).
Yea me too, the media is good like that.
