Sen. Ted Cruz said Thursday that he doesnt think that Donald Trump will capture the 2016 GOP presidential nomination and predicted that it is only a matter of time before most of the New York billionaires supporters will move into his camp. During an appearance on WABC-AM Radio, host Rita Cosby asked Mr. Cruz whether he would eventually move past Mr. Trump based on his conservative principles, and the Texas Republcian said I think thats right. In time, I dont believe Donald is going to be the nominee, and I think in time the lions share of his supporters end up with us, Mr. Cruz said. Mr. Trump has tangled with most of the candidates running for the Republican presidential nomination and has touted how some of his rivals have sunk in the polls after attacking him. But he has not traded barbs with Mr. Cruz, who has been Mr. Trumps biggest ally in the crowded GOP field. In the WABC-AM interview, Mr. Cruz continued to praise Mr. Trump, saying he liked and respected Donald. Mr. Cruz said Mr. Trump has boosted his candidacy and his chance of becoming the partys standard-bearer. I think his involvement has been tremendously helpful to my campaign because it has framed the central question of the primary as: Who will stand up to Washington? Mr. Cruz said. And if thats the central question, the natural next question, that any voter will ask is okay, well who actually has stood up to Washington? Who has a record in that regard? The Cruz campaign also announced Thursday that he will report raising $12.2 million over the last three months exceeding the hauls of fellow Sens. Marco Rubio of Florida, who plans to report $6 million, and Rand Paul of Kentucky, who raised $2.5 million.

Right now, the Dems start with an enormous advantage in the electoral college. When you look at the 2012 electoral results, it is difficult to see what states Hillary or any Dem would lose that Obama won.
Noticed what you posted is an excerpt, but there was only one more sentence in the article as far as I could see.
And, this is the line:
“Ben Carson, meanwhile, pulled in $20 million, according to his campaign.”
However, when broken down to individual counties, there is much more red, indicating numerous, if not most calls are very close.
On the topic of candidacy, perhaps if the dem voter that was not far left could be shown what conservatism can do, they may relax their lib DBM driven fears a little and actually consider an alternative.
Dems winning is not because of what they deliver, it is due to what the media pushes as what they will, and what they stand for, which is usually bullshiite.
need to control the media sufficiently to get the alternative message out.
Who on the horizon is doing that currently?
ps. gots to get to work, will check in the pm.
The GOPe solution of course is for the GOP to become a second Democrat party, abandoning all conservative principles and taking up most of the Dem platform as its own.
Sorry to hear that you are being vilified.
I agree.
I agree.
The blue counties, on the other hand, are where most of the people live.
Here's a comfortable Democrat victory in Pennsyvania:

Supporters of Trump are largely low-info loose marbles in this election cycle.
They tend to be immatureishly exuberant in their vocal support, but most are unaware of where Trump really is politically.
As they become more aware of the real world they’re going to have to look for a real candidate with real solutions to the real problems.
.
I may be wrong, but I believe what seems to be the “weasel quotient” to you with Cruz, is simply his inability to connect with you.
I don’t think he’s a weasel. I just think he has a hard time connecting. I like his core beliefs, but I can’t honestly say I enjoy watching him articulate them.
Maybe I’m way off base there. That’s how I see him.
Electoral votes of a state are not determined by counties won, but by total vote. It is the reason why the major cities control the state outcome like in MI and PA. And the biggest counties are going Dem with a direct correlation to immigration.

No, the Dem voters support Big Government and all the services it can provide. The message of conservatism, i.e., smaller government, lower taxes, etc. just doesn't resonate.
need to control the media sufficiently to get the alternative message out.
The LIVs are not buying the message.
Who on the horizon is doing that currently?
Probably Trump. He is the only candidate who is actually supporting the American worker. You should read Jeff Sessions article, Becoming the party of work It should be required reading for every Rep candidate. Both parties have abandoned the American worker.
.
Ted Cruz is “the horns!”
Ask anyone who has dealt with him in an election, or in court.
Trump doesn’t have anywhere near the intellect required to really tangle with Cruz.
.
.
>> “Trump really could drain the swamp.
Without regrets.
No mercy.” <<
Childish, invidious, effluvious fantasy.
Trump doesn’t even know where the swamp is.

Trump’s maximum possible vote tally for the primary is about 38%.
You can’t win with 38%
Cruz’ potential tally could be as high as 70% since only 30% voice any negatives for him.
That is election reality.
Holiness is the manner... love is the essence.
There is no biblical attribution parallel to “God is love.” People with man centered religion who are proud of holiness rather than accepting it as God’s manner, tend to overlook this.
Take the 0-4 Detroit Lions for example. They pretty much have no chance to win the Super Bowl but if you asked anybody on that team, they would tell you that they expect to win the Super Bowl this year. To say otherwise would be to be a defeatist and they should be booted from the team.
Well, I’m a Trump supporter but if he is not the nominee, I won’t be voting for Ted Cruz.
That is your wishiality.
