Controversy erupts over 'Black labs matter' sign in front of barbershop

A sign outside Tom's Barbershop that says "Black labs matter" and suggests supporting the MSPCA is getting a strong reaction in Norton, Massachusetts. But barber Tom Stevens says humor is his way of life.

"It's just a sign, it's a way to have fun, it's a way to reach out, it's a way to tell people I'm here," he said.

I’ve had two Black and a Yellow Lab. All females. I’m not sure my heart can take another one! :)

I currently have a Basset Hound and a cat, both are 15! I’d like to stay ‘pet-less’ for a while after they pass, but I’m sure that won’t last long.

Five years ago I lost a wonderful dog who was half Chocolate Lab and half Weimaraner, and it still hurts. However, I dealt with a lot of that hurt by adopting a Great Dane puppy, who's now full grown and noting but a giant love muffin.

To answer your questions:

Black lives matter only in certain specific cases.

1. If a gentle giant of a black man, suspected of a recent crime, is shot by a white policeman during a physical altercation.

2. If a young black man is shot by a white Hispanic neighborhood watch volunteer during a physical altercation.

3. If a young black man dies of injuries suffered in riding in a police van in police custody.

Otherwise black lives really don’t matter to the black/liberal/radical activists. Black lives only matter in certain specific circumstances.
