During an appearance on the Alex Jones Show, Drudge asserted that copyright laws which prevent websites from even linking to news stories were being advanced.
“I had a Supreme Court Justice tell me it’s over for me,” said Drudge. “They’ve got the votes now to enforce copyright law, you’re out of there. They’re going to make it so you can’t even use headlines.”
“To have a Supreme Court Justice say to me it’s over, they’ve got the votes, which means time is limited,” he added, noting that a day was coming when simply operating an independent website could be outlawed.
“That will end (it) for me – fine – I’ve had a hell of a run,” said Drudge, adding that web users were being pushed into the cyber “ghettos” of Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
“This is ghetto, this is corporate, they’re taking your energy and you’re getting nothing in return – nothing!”
KC, every person that posts on any right wing website is 100% guarenteed to be on a list as a potential threat.
I use a plugin call Ghostery, it reports all trackers that are on a web page and lets you block or enable them. There is even one on FR called "Google Analytics" and it is the only one that Ghostery reports but some sites I visit have up to 20 trackers.

Unfortunately neither you or the morons in Congress have read this traitorous bill that they approved.

The President has already been given the authority to shut down the internet and yes it can be done.
I have a website and do my own stuff locally. I am currently working on the Qatar Foundation infiltrating my local school district. Get my own documents,stage protests, take pics and share online. Mostly to archive and share among other activists. I am sure there are plenty out there covering their own backyard.

All of this is about selective law enforcement. You make everything illegal and then you can arrest or destroy your political enemies. Lois Lerner, is the perfect example.
That is why I want to see a very weak FedGov, and no IRS - they cannot be trusted with power. The founders knew it.

I googled your question a year ago. I found a site that takes you through the steps. It required changing my FB identity, then selecting “delete.” It will tell you to stay out of FB until you are notified cancelling FB is successful.Process took about two weeks. I only include these steps so you can see getting off FB was not simple.
Seems like hype and paranoia to me. This would seem to throw the idea of “fair use” out the window. If a web page can’t quote an article, then another article can’t quote an article either. Most sites want the traffic, so most would not request that others avoid linking to them anyway. Drudge doesn’t always use the original headline, he words it his own way. So the mere idea that putting a link on your site to another site is a copyright violation is simply absurd. It would turn the whole internet into one giant copyright violation.

One of the grandkids told me she had some huge number of friends on Facebook (I don’t Facebook, myself). I asked her what color their eyes were. How about their favorite color? flavor of ice cream? When she said she didn’t know, I mentioned they must not be much of a friend. I think she got it.
Simply refer to the article in words not identical to the title and worded in a way that indicates the source. That should do it.
