It seems to me the only principled reason to be a Republican would be to stop, thwart and defeat Leftist ideas youre opposed to. Therefore, what better standard by which to judge Republican presidential candidates than by who is the most committed to actually defeating the opposition?
And who might that candidate be in 2016? Well, according to the man from whom much of todays conservative multimedia empire originates, that candidate is Ted Cruz.
If youre looking for the Republican candidate who is the most steadfastly opposed to liberalism, whose agenda is oriented towards stopping it, thwarting it, and defeating it its Ted Cruz, Mr. Limbaugh recently said on his popular radio program.
Let the record show that as usual, Rush is right.
In fact, I challenge anybody reading this to make an objective case there is a more principled candidate in the race than Mr. Cruz because you cant. I also work for an organization called Conservative Review, which gives regularly scheduled proctology exams to the records of politicians by charting how they vote on a full spectrum of conservative issues via our liberty scorecard. Mr. Cruz currently has our second-highest score at 96 percent, which is second only to Mike Lee.
Except Mr. Cruz does not just settle for voting the right way when its all said and done, but he fights back on our behalf against the corruption infesting Washington as well as the losership of the Republican Party.
...
Here is the bottom line: If someone doesnt have a proven history of fighting the corruption in Washington before getting elected, that probably means theyre unlikely to do it after they reach the White House.

These are bull - Trump is very strong on the 2nd Amendment and doesn’t deserve a red mark on that. Free trade? Cruz gets a good after voting for TPP and the Corker bill? Give me a friggin break.
So, her argued in front of the Supreme Court? That makes him a good attorney and urging someone to sign a bill isn’t the same as that person doing it. SOme of you have a misguided idea of what leadership is.
Amen!
Wake up America!
Anything less than principles is a sell out.
Wonderful graphic. Haven’t seen it until now. Thanks for the post.
I think Trump is a true patriot, genuine, sincere. I think Perot was, too, and at worst Perot saved us -- twice he saved us -- from anything close to a mandate for Clinton; Clinton's two plurality wins, where the American majority rejected him in the ballot box, made him weak and the MSM has projected the illusion that Clinton was "popular," though both times, more than half of Americans cast votes intended to be "against" Clinton (see my tagline). It made Clinton weak and he got slammed in the Republican Revolution and then impeached, so AFIAC, Perot did us a favor. Plus nutty though he was, he was a true American patriot. (Clinton, Obama, are government weasels).
I think Trump is also a weak sister on the 2nd Amendment.
I have read his words where he makes it clear that be believes people should have the right to arm themselves because they need to defend themselves against criminals. Cops just can't get there in time.
Trump is partially correct in that it is an advantage of the 2nd amendment, guns supplementing the God-given right of a person to defend him/herself.
But the one who is the strongest 2nd amendment supporter is the one who understands why it is important, what its connection is to the 1st amendment.
Without the 2nd amendment, you have no real 1st amendment. I bet Cruz holds that close and dear, and I'll bet that connection flies way over Trump's head.
Indeed.
Yes, he is.
However, with his current campaign manager, he’ll never win.
I’d settle for a Trump/Cruz ticket, satisfied we have the best winning combination. .02
Trump is sucking all the air out of the room, but I want Ted
Ted is better. But there are a couple red dots on that chart that trump doesn’t deserve. He is fine on the 2nd amendment, I’d call it yellow on free market and probably healthcare.
There’s really no point in wasting time on the intentionally ignorant.
Absolutely agree. Cruz is the clear choice.
Me, too, MY. I think he’ll prevail in the long run. He’s very careful and very patient.
