HONOLULU, Oct. 2 (UPI) -- An undisclosed number of F-22 Raptors of the Hawaii Air National Guard and the U.S. Air Force have been deployed to the Middle East for as long as six months.
The Hawaii Air National Guard, or HIANG, said the deployment of most of the fighters and more than 200 personnel from Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam in Honolulu took place Sept. 26 but was kept secret for security considerations.
The aircraft and personnel are now in an unidentified location in the region, which is in the area of responsibility of the U.S. Central Command.
"Because of security considerations and host nation sensitivities, the HIANG will not release the base nor country where the Raptors are operating from, nor will the HIANG release the number of F-22 fighters that are deployed," it said.

However, if the F-22s are at Incirlik, that's pretty much a confirmation right there.

What you must remember is that *everything* Obama touches turns to crap.
Libya is now a wasteland after Obama’s 2011 war there.
Syria is a giant battleground, after 4 years of Obama’s backing of “moderate” terrorists there.
Obama could be sending F-22’s to fight Russians or Israelis or both. Whatever it is, he’ll screw it up.

Note that the F-22 deployment happened back on 9/26, and only made public today, yet Hillary, Fiorina, and Kasich all used identical language calling for a “Syrian No-Fly Zone” this week.

It does not specifically mention “Israel” but what would you surmise from “defend against external attack on Iran”?
It depends on what you believe I guess. If you believe that terrorists are about to acquire nuclear weapons, than yes, that’s probably true. If you believe, as I do, that our economy is about to tank as a result of the failed petrodollar and Russia’s/China’s role in that, than I think Russia is probably a bigger threat and I’m guess that’s why we’re moving Raptors into the theater. You don’t pull that kind of hardware out unless vital national interests are at stake.
Include Rubio in that list also. Little boys always want to look bigger than they are.
What are out vital nation interests in Syria?
oil, natural gas, the petrodollar, our special relationship with Saudi Arabia, regional influence, global influence, etc.
