The shooter was said to be shooting those folks after asking them what their religion was!(more to come on this story and this won’t look good for a certain “culture”)

Of course the Charleston shooter was the subject of an active manhunt. The race of the perp was therefore more relevant. The Umpqua shooter is not at large -- he's dead.
If he was a conservative, this story will run for months.

White people are better at industrialization. Mass shootings require planning, thought, and a desire to see it through to the finish. Most black shooters are fueled by passion and a desire to get some payback right now. So their numbers (deaths per incident) are much lower.

Shooter was 20 yo. Shot teacher in head, and then told students to state their religion. Reports on twitter that he was planning to do it. Shooting from outside of classroom.
