To gauge the poll what was the measure in their last poll?

Too funny. If Trump has bottomed, what does that say about everybody else who is WAY behind him?
And Jebbie...at 8 per cent. This was supposed to be the appointed nominee from the GOP establishment. Pretty sad showing.
Nice try Craig. Trump has nowhere near bottomed out. In fact, this poll proves that the Carson and Fiorino surges were figments of the medias manipulations. It’s also a small sample size of 391 which is +/-5 moe. All in all, this is a great poll for Trump. It was also taken largely before Trump’s tax plan was released. If you look at Morning Consult and Reuters (online polls), Trump is at 30 and trending up in Reuters. He’s doubled up his competition in both of those polls and has nearly done the same here. Trump has been bludgeoned this month by everyone and he is still standing strong.
His CNN interview with Erin Burnett was informative, charged, and mostly elegant, and it was followed with the release of his tax plan and the enthusiastic press conference at Trump Tower that went with it.
These events this week are all good for a Trump bump in polling, but no one seems to want to report it. It will get rolled up in some weekly poll, I suppose. But, Trump had a good week, in my estimation.
Also, as a side note, I wonder about FOX News and how their prime time polling is going? Drudge used to publish it on Mondays wasn’t it? I keep missing it, if he is still doing that.

The last USAT/Suffolk was 7/9 to 7/12, which had Trump at 17 Carson at 4. For comparison, the two closest polls time-wise were Monmouth 13 to 6 and Fox 18 to 6.
I think in the next week or two we will see Trump rise on his tax plan.
Well, I just have to wonder if the threshold for the next debates will be set at 10% and above for a candidates to be included. Is this new poll the first of many to follow that will exclude Cruz and include Bush? You just have to wonder.

Actually I agree with you, I think you and some others are misinterpreting what I mean when I say “bottomed out” — I mean this in a positive way for Trump, as in his numbers aren’t going down anymore because he has a floor of supporters that aren’t going anywhere.
I am not a Cruz fan, but to have Bush ahead of him has to hurt. I feel for Cruz. He tries to get attention but he just gets negative attention.

Soon, it will be DELEGATES, DELEGATES, DELEGATES that will be getting a lot of the polling. Remember this, our office holders are super delegates. Will they go for these “outsiders”?
