Donald Trump is making the right decision to no longer appear on the Fox News Channel because the cable network is pulling for his nemesis Jeb Bush, political analyst Dick Morris says.
"Let me say one thing that hasn't been said before on TV but I'm going to say it. Fox News is in the tank for Bush," Morris said Wednesday to Dennis Michael Lynch, guest host of "The Steve Malzberg Show." "Roger Ailes, the head of Fox News, was [President George H.W.] Bush's main guy and main strategist. I first met Roger in 1988 when he and I worked together on Bush 41's campaign and worked on the negative ads that sank [Michael] Dukakis."
"The Bush family has always been intimate with Fox News and they are protecting Jeb Bush."
On Wednesday, Trump took to his Twitter account to announce that he's decided to boycott the network, because Fox has been "very negative to me in refusing to post the great polls that came out."

Two Thumbs Up!!

Dear FoxNews Manager,
So you're trying to destroy Donald Trump? Well, you've just ruined your credibility. "Fair and Balanced"? - I think not. You guys don't get it. The people have had enough of the press trying to manipulate the message. Stop shoveling political losers like Jeb down our throats. We get that you all are creatures of your paymasters and we realize we can no longer trust Fox News or any of the other mainstream media sources. So, this is goodbye. I've deleted you from my channel selection and browser bookmarks. I don't really need you to tell me what's news - why listen to the horse's ass when I can listen to the horse? - and this applies to more than news about Trump!
Welcome to the information age and declining viewership.
Is more like it.
Does Hannity still regularly invite “My good friend, ‘The Architect’” on his program? It’s been years since I tuned in; I’d gotten sick of hearing that introduction.
morris is sour grapes on a nothing network wishing he was relevant
Dick Morris Dropped By Fox News
_____
"Let me say one thing that hasn't been said before on TV but I'm going to say it. Fox News is in the tank for Bush," Morris said Wednesday
I hear stuff like that online all the time. But so far as I can see, nobody's enthusiastic about Jeb. They just don't like Trump.
FWIW, Donald Trump and Dick Morris aren't polar opposites. They both are over the top and larger than life personalities, so it wouldn't be surprising if there's some fellow feeling between them.
It started with that fiasco debate. They lost me as a viewer that night. From what I read, they continue to froth at the mouth with the likes of Kraut, Wills, Rove, et c. Twice NewsCorp sent Ailes to “apologize.” LOL Then they decided to double down on stupid. Let them live with it. Don’t support them. Don’t support their sponsors.
Given the really anus sucking coverage Fox gave Obola in 2008, with cream puff interviews by BOR and others, and Fox’s complete failure to address Obola’s total failure to press Obola on his communist background, Fox lost any credibility it might have had in complaining about Trump telling them to GO STUFF IT. Go Trump!
OAN is a good replacement. Real news, not just talking heads.
Morris was fired by Fox for being extremely off-base with his rosy 2012 election forecast.
This was discussed on the Bret Baier Show today. The issue was was Why Did Trump Kiss Fox News Goodbye?
Obvious answer: The nearly universal negative coverage of Trump on Fox News and the equally obvious pimping for Jeb. This isn’t Rocket Science.
The Fox News Panel Answer: Trump is tired or afraid of the Tough Questions he gets on Fox News. Give me a break.
I’m down to about 10 minutes a day on Fox and starting to question even that bit of time.
Trump should go on One America. It would hit Fox where it hurts - in their ratings - and give OAN, a much more objective news network, a boost.
I quit watching when Hume was so disgusting about Cruz calling McConnell a liar.
I did watch the debate but that was it.
FOX is a joke these days...I don’t need to see Krut & Will literally red-faced & shaking with rage screaming about Trump. It’s insane.
That's your job. I mean, you can select your news sources to balance out prevailing media biases.
If Fox were going to provide an almost constant ultra-conservative spin, they couldn't claim to be "fair and balanced" and they wouldn't be taken seriously outside a very small group.
You can't expect them to throw away most of their audience just to make your media intake what you want it to be, when you can adjust it on your own as you see fit.
And yet FoxNews always had Leftist views, even sometimes predominantly, in their presentations.
Sure, there's always one person in a discussion to represent the other side, but to say FNC had predominantly Leftist views is going way too far. Even if you didn't like O'Reilly or Greta, there was always Hannity.
Thank you x.
I’ll come back and address this later.
You’ve raised some good points. I wouldn’t disagree with you in all things there, but I will be disagreeing. Perhaps we’ll find some common ground too.
Their new slogan instead of We report, you decide. should be We distort, you decide.
...Kneel before FOX
Does Hannity still regularly invite My good friend, The Architect on his program?

I’m sure he does. I think they’re gay lovers. That’s another reason I quit FOX. I can’t stand the sight or voice of the Pillsbury Dough Boy.
