I’m undecided on Trump, but don’t we already have a president who hates Fox News?

Fox is acting like a bunch of douches instead of reporting. I don’t blame him. They are not supposed to be a candidate nor a branch of a candidate’s campaign, however they are acting like it.

Fox has become unwatchable.

I changed from F&F in the mornings to Maria Bartiromo, as F&F became more anti-Trump. It didn’t take long afterward for FBN to jump on the bandwagon.

I used to like the Five but even they are getting unbearable. Between Geraldo’s “tough guy” act, and KG fawning over FioRINO, I want to vomit.

The problem is that the other are even worse. FOX at least has Jeanine Pirro and several others have been reasonably fair as far as I can tell.

Yes, but for much different reasons. Obunga hates Fox because they stick their cold wet noses up his butt.

Trump is justifiably torqued with them because they’ve chosen sides and gone to sandbagging him, while flacking the GOPe puff dujour. The past few days it was Carly. Today it appears that she’s been dumped, and Rubio will be the fair haired boy.

Trump doesn’t need to put up with that folderol.

Could be a brilliant move to distance himself from Fox News. The DUmmies will have a harder time saying Trump is a product of Murdoch/Fox, ad nauseum. If Fox were seen as ‘selling’ Trump it would turn a lot of people off.

Fox won’t join the Trump adoration movement. Trump cannot handle anything with a hint of critical analysis of his positions or hard questions about the merits of his candidacy, which is something all candidates get. Every hard question is considered a hit piece, to be “countered” by some belittling tweet. His attitude will not play well in the election coverage should he get the nomination.

I am stunned how much he is like BHO in this regard.

I am wondering... if he wants ‘fair’ treatment, where’s he going to go? MSNBC?

What the hell is that supposed to mean?

What are you, in some kind of debt to the MSM? You have some kind of secret allegiance or alliance with them?

Don’t assume that there isn’t more than meets the eye here. Trump is a master strategist. I’m not saying his anger with FOX isn’t genuine or deserved, but from a purely objective viewpoint, this announcement helps him in a number of ways.

1 - This announcement helps ensure Trump will be one of the top topics of conversation in the news for the next week or so. Notice that every week or two, some new ‘controversy’ regarding Trump emerges. Trump always comes out of each ‘controversy’ smelling like a rose, and benefitting from the free media time. Sometimes the ‘controversies’ are created by himself, and sometimes he just takes advantage of the circumstances that present themselves and uses them to his advantage.

2 - Trump has been making the case for some time now, that he is a huge ratings draw for all of these media outlets. The truth of this claim is undeniable. Just look at the killer ratings for both debates, the Tonight Show, and Colbert. This has helped set the stage for today’s announcement. Now, he’s letting FOX know that their anti-Trump agenda is going to cost them money.

3- This action also serves notice to CNN and MSNBC, that the same thing can happen to them if they don’t treat him fairly. Don’t think that CNN and MSNBC don’t enjoy having Trump choose them over their competitor, FOX, so more than likely this move will encourage CNN and MSNBC to treat Trump well, or at least fairly.

4- If FOX doesn’t change their treatment of Trump, he still has plenty of outlets in which he can reach the public. If he is able to get them to change their attitude based on the loss of ratings from his boycott, then that will be an added bonus, and will demonstrate once again, that Trump knows how to use leverage effectively.

Personally I stopped watching the pompous ass bill o rielly decades ago. He's an idiot. I liked watching megan kelly until I saw her pull an all out frontal assault on Donald Trump in the first debates. Since then fox news as a whole went bye bye in my home. I hate the p***ies in the gop establishment and it sickens me that fox news have become one of their puppets. I'm tired of listening to hannity talk about radical islam as though any muslim is anything but a radical islamist. The entire cult of islam are radical and the social engineering going on EVERY station I can no longer stomach.

I find Trump petulant. Who has terrible character. Just the way he went off on Hugh Hewitt because Hugh asked him a hard question. And the way he went on about Rand's looks at the debate.

With that said sometimes I want to throw something at the TV when Fox hosts support the RINOs.
