Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin has concluded he no longer has a path to the Republican presidential nomination and plans to drop out of the 2016 campaign, according to three Republicans familiar with his decision, who spoke on condition of anonymity.
Mr. Walker called a news conference in Madison at 6 p.m. Eastern time.

“his votes will shift to more of the better candidates.”
What votes?
“but for some reason went squish as a POTUS candidate.”
IMO, he let the advisors tell him what to say, and more importantly, NOT SAY. In the world of today, the Mainstream Media, as evidenced by last Night’s EMMY’s, is a direct enemy, and they must be treated like it.
Secretary of Labor in the Cruz administration would be a good spot for Walker. :-)
Nice guy, but maybe too nice.
Wisconsin needs him.
Bloom where you are planted, Scotty!
Good luck to him. He seems like a good man.
Lackluster debate performances sank him. Hopefully, more conservative money and votes will coalesce around Cruz now.
That's not funny and in fact, that's very unkind.
Cincinatus' Wife is a wonderful and very informative advocate for Governor Walker, just like she's always been for every candidate she's elected to support.
And by the way, please also remember to ping the member you talk about.
While I did not think he would win. He is a honest man who loves his country. Had he won I would have been able to vote for him and still look in a mirror which I could not do with some others.
If you ‘graduate’ up the political food chain and the higher up you go, then the more you’re indoctrinated, scared, and beholden to ‘establishment interests, and convinced into playing by the “PC Playbook”.... i.e. YOU LOSE the “pair you grew” to get into the game in the first place.
if true, i’m sorry to hear this. one republican left on my list now.
He couldn’t even say whether or not he believed that Obama loves America even after Giuliani paved the way for him. For crying out loud that was a total no brainer. Not presidential material!
In related news Georgie Will has cancelled his Hawaiian vacation next year.
Pray America is waking
I like Walker and hope he has a place in the new Administration no matter who the President ends up as.
Well Said!
I can’t blame him, he wasn’t getting any traction.
Now if that moron Graham will quit, along with Santorum and a couple of other losers and we can get down to the serious business of picking a candidate.
“I would say his votes will shift to more of the better candidates.”
All .5% of them? I doubt we’re gonna be able to notice the impact on the other candidates poll numbers.
I preferred him over Carson.
Carson “seems” nice but is full of vaulting ambition.
Stay strong, Scott, and continue to serve the people of Wisconsin well.
Thin out the brush so we can get air to burn out the RINOS!
Yup....nice guy, but his back & forth on the immigration issue really hurt him.
