Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin has concluded he no longer has a path to the Republican presidential nomination and plans to drop out of the 2016 campaign, according to three Republicans familiar with his decision, who spoke on condition of anonymity.

Mr. Walker called a news conference in Madison at 6 p.m. Eastern time.

“I wonder how we would do with an all-Hispanic ticket?”

Lose. The key to permanent Republican dominance is white voters.

While Americans oppose gun control 53 to 45 overall, Hispanics support gun control 62% to 36%. More Hispanics means fewer gun rights.

While Americans support a smaller government by 48% to 41%, Hispanics support a bigger government 75% to 19%.

In the 2012 elections, Hispanics voted democrat 68% to 30%. In the 2010 midterms they voted democrat 60% to 38%, and in the 2014 midterms they voted democrat 62% to 36%.

On Obamacare, Americans disapprove 53% to 41%, while Hispanics are split 47% to 47%.

Hispanics are also more likely to support hate speech laws 50% to 24%, while white Americans slightly oppose hate speech laws 41% to 37%.

Republicans have fallen for the myth of Hispanics as “natural conservatives” at least since Ronald Reagan, and arguably well before that.

Why would you say that ... “if Cruz doesn’t get his support”?

One, Scott had very little support and two, Cruz has a lot of support and is in absolutely no danger of dropping out.

George Will (and some on this site) were bragging that his internals showed him leading. That was about a week ago.
Just another instance where Will the beltway boys are FOS.

Oh I'm sure there will some minor wailng and gnashing of teeth in the Will household, as Mrs. George Will won't be getting any more consulting fees from the Walker campaign, I suppose it means that they'll have to go back to plain Lipton tea instead of whatever fancy stuff elitists like them prefer.

The important question is who is going to get his supporters??

And GOPe thug for hire Brad Dayspring. He is back on the market now. I wonder which campaign will pick him up? Rubio? Fiorina?

I decided to listen to some of his speeches, and I was completely perplexed at what on Earth was so exciting about the guy. I didn’t feel any buzz at all.
I felt the same about Cruz
It takes more than a bullet point list of accomplishments to win
Cruz doesn't even have that.

Because Walker was actually running for the nomination, whereas all the rest of those zero-funded, zero-polling putzes like Graham are in the race solely as mouthpieces for the GOPe to attack the non-establishment candidates.

And to scoop up whatever primary delegates they can, and once they've gotten all they're going to get, they'll drop out of the race and deliver them to Yeb! The RNC has re-written the primary rules to serve that purpose. Trump is threatening to smash their little playhouse.

George Will sold his soul to the devil over 25 years ago to ABC News (This Week with David Brinkley)

He made millions since that day. Rich, elitist Establishment Republican. In other words, a whore and A coward.

OMG ... reminds me of an earlier comment today in which I said that if that fat pig Candy Crowley and Chris Christie ever get synchronized, that we could be truly threatened by famine on a global scale, not one all-you-can-eat buffet would survive, lol

Cruz’s biggest problem is that he can deliver speeches and lines as smoothly and confidently as if they were rehearsed 3000 times, but he doesnt have the Reagan ability to enter into a room and everyone feel like he has been their friend forever.

After he won election, he reversed his position and started fighting for amnesty - a devious man.

Yep, and he even pulled the race card on those of us who railed against his amnesty plans. From the instant I heard him say "racist," I vowed never to vote for him. I'm very happy to see him doing poorly in the polls.

I have not read this about Rubio. I’m hoping this is just political gossip and not anything of substance.

I hadn’t heard or read it EVER either. Guy sure sweats a lot on camera, though. Makes sense if he realizes his VP slot just got swiped over whatever ‘it’ is.

He decided to quit— nobody drove him out..

Some fighter. Cut and run at the first sign of adversity. The beltway guy on Hannity today was knocking Walker for having too big a campaign machine too early. Looks like he couldn’t feed the beast and had to drop out.

Conservative Voters like someone that sticks up for themselves and for Conservative principles and doesn’t play the gotcha liberal media game. Look, according to Larry Sinclair testimony to the media in 2007 Obama had a gay sexual tryst in the back of a limo with Larry and some cocaine, Fact: Obama went to an anti-American racist church whose preacher was a leftwing loon nutjob. Fact: Obama launched his political career in the living room of his great friend and mentor an avowed unrepentant terrorist. There is no possible way that a person with that character could be elected as dog catcher let alone POTUS so how did it happen....Early on the far left and nutwing progressives decided to put all their eggs in the Obama basket, their strategy they would not pay any attention to any negative press or reports about their boy, period... In other words when reports of the above actions were put out in the media their response basically was we don’t give a F##@K..... I have now adopted that same philosophy for every Republican nominee, nothing matters to me but they better stand up for themselves and show no weakness.... PERIOD....
