Retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson is catching flak for arguing that a person of Muslim faith should not occupy the Oval Office.
Carson, a leading Republican presidential candidate who often references his Christian faith, ignited the controversy Sunday on NBC's "Meet the Press."
Carson said Islam is inconsistent with the Constitution and that he would not "advocate that we put a Muslim in charge of this nation."
That comment infuriated at least two of Carson's rivals in the 2016 race. Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) criticized Carson at length in a subsequent Fox News interview.
"This shows that Dr. Carson is not ready to be commander-in-chief," Graham declared. "Mr. Carson may be a good doctor but he is not ready to lead a great nation."
Graham also argued that Carson should apologize to Muslims who serve in the US armed forces.

Biden Lectured Ayaan Hirsi Ali On Islam
“I wasn’t used to arguing with vice presidents.”
In a recent interview with the Washington Examiner, human rights activist Ayaan Hirsi Ali discussed the “real war on women” being conducted by adherents to radical Islam and the need for the American left to acknowledge that reality. During the conversation, Hirsi Ali recalled a particularly telling encounter she had with Vice President Joe Biden in which he attempted to correct her on “one or two things about Islam.”
Hirsi Ali explained to the Examiner that in the left’s attempts to protect anyone they perceive as “victims of the white man,” they have failed to look honestly at the true war on women waged by radical Muslims.
“They feel all religions are the same, and they’re not,” she said. “I think if I adopt the position in good faith to multiculturalists and leftists, I would say [they take the position they do] because they see them [Muslims] as victims. They see them as victims of the white man and so they think: ‘Let’s protect them from the white man. Let’s protect them from capitalism.’… That is misguided at best and malicious at worst.”
Hirsi Ali’s organization provides some disturbing statistics on the treatment of women under Islam, including 5,000 honor killings occurring worldwide each year—between 25 and 28 of those occurring in the United States—and an estimated 800 million women and girls living under the constant threat of such consequences. WHO estimates that more than 125 million women and girls alive today have undergone female genital mutilation.
“Wherever [Islamists] gain power, you see exactly what they do: The first thing they do is they chase women out of the public space, force them to cover up, beat them up, rape them, sell them into slavery,” said Hirsi Ali.
The purpose of her organization is to expose reality such as this, particularly to Western liberals, who she said must “review their thinking.” But getting the left to do so is no easy task, as Hirsi Ali’s encounter with Vice President Biden exemplifies.
At a dinner in Washington, Biden attempted to correct her perspective on relationship between the Islamic State and Islam, saying, “ISIS had nothing to do with Islam.” When she pushed back, Biden said, “Let me tell you one or two things about Islam…”
“I politely left the conversation at that,” Hirsi Ali said. “I wasn’t used to arguing with vice presidents.”
As the Examiner outlines, Hirsi Ali’s knowledge of the realities of Islam is rooted in her own traumatic experiences. At age 5 in her home country Somalia, she was subjected to female genital mutilation while her father, who objected to the practice, was in prison. After her father escaped, he moved the family to Saudi Arabia, then Ethiopia, then finally Kenya when she was 11. Though Hirsi Ali was raised a practicing Muslim, when her family attempted to force her into an arranged marriage, she fled to the Netherlands.
Even in Europe, however, she found that she was not safe. After earning a seat in parliament, her outspoken criticism of Islam eventually resulted in the murder of a filmmaker, Theo van Gogh, with whom she produced a short film on the abuse of women under Islam. A letter including death threats against Hirsi Ali was pinned to van Gogh’s dead body with a knife. The human rights activist must now travel under the constant protection of a security detail.

Graham and Sanders stepping in it will probably boost Carson’s numbers.
Carson should have stated that true muslims should not be allowed to be citizens, either, since their worldview is antithetical to the Constitution (Freedom). The worldview is a totalitarian political system-—and it is fundamentally incompatible with the US Constitution-—which even Jefferson understood and recognized.
The irrational Marxists, like Linda, would say that Worldview doesn’t matter-—that Stalin should have been allowed to be president-—(we have the equivalent to him now in office—except even Stalin didn’t allow “homosexual” marriage and sodomy to be promoted to little children.
Linda wants sodomy to be glorified “for the children”. He wants 2000 years of ethics flipped to the muslim ethics where little boys are put into harems-—like the sodomite, John Maynard Keynes (Fabian), bragged about-——his homosexual orgies with the boys and where to comb the world to find ones you could even castrate.
These people who condemn Carson are satanists or lucifereans and throw out God and our Individual Natural Rights from God which literally will destroy our Constitution and make our Justice System into a Vice/totalitarian one.

I have never seen the Media so defensive of a Religion.
I don’t recall such outrage when the so-called ‘art’ exhibit called “Piss Christ” was displayed. That was considered to be the height of expression.

And ight now, because of the Head of the Moslem Brotherhood in America who sits in the White House, the government is sorely infected with Moslems as the military. It could be said that the MB runs the Executive. The WH and the Bureaus have jihadis throughout the top levels.
Actually this is a good move by Carson, and directly from the Trump playbook. They are saying what 50% of the country already think. It’s just we have too many cowards in leadership positions who are in fear of he PC police.
Carson is absolutely right. Let the media go to hell.
