Carly Fiorina, the former chief executive of Hewlett-Packard, is running for president on her business smarts. She led the company from 1999 to 2005, the first female head of a Fortune 50 firm and controversies from her high-profile tenure resurfaced Wednesday at the Republican debate.
"Yes, we had to make tough choices," Fiorina said on the prime-time stage, "and in doing so, we saved 80,000 jobs, went on to grow to 160,000 jobs. And now Hewlett-Packard is almost 300,000 jobs. We went from lagging behind to leading in every product category and every market segment."
"The company is a disaster and continues to be a disaster," Donald Trump responded later in the night. "They still haven't recovered. In fact, today, on the front page of the Wall Street Journal, they fired another 25 or 30,000 people saying we still haven't recovered from the catastrophe."
Trump is among a chorus of increasingly vocal Fiorina critics. Before her team could grab the space, a cybersquatter purchased CarlyFiorina.org,

No, actually he’s never declared bankruptcy. Out of the hundreds of high risk investments he’s made 4 of his endevors ended up bankrupt.
“According to Forbes, there are 33 licensing projects under development including seven “condo hotels” (the seven Trump International Hotel and Tower developments).”
This doesn’t cover everything but you get the idea.
Only 4 of them failed.
Thanks for sharing that, I can’t believe she’s even allowed on stage.
ring. I do wish people would educate themselves on issues and stop parroting what the MSM feeds them.
i agree but unfortunately title 11 (of chapter 11 is one) is popularly referred to as the bankruptcy code. adding to the confusion.
Again, thank you for taking the time to reply. I have no agenda except to see that conservatism wins out, and that Republicans get elected over Dem, as, generally speaking, Republicans are more conservative. This country cannot survive another four years of Clinton/Biden/Warren or the like.
I referred to the Trump Cult, and apologize if you were offended. But, my reference was based upon my observation that anyone who is critical of Trump, in the press or here, is demonized.
I will vote for Trump if he is the nominee, but I frankly hope it will be Cruz or Rubio, as I think they are more electable.
Will you vote for Rubio or Cruz or another Rep over Clinton/Biden/Warren or the like?
And no, I have never held any position in any political party, paid or otherwise.
Rubio? No
Cruz? Yes if he doesn’t blow it.
He just about lost me completely on the Corker bill and his vote on support legislation for the TPP. His H1-B stance is also unacceptable to me.
I’m done voting for people who say one thing and do another.
I hear what you’re saying, but Dems tend to do exactly what they say, and what they say is always bad.
Yep, and I don’t vote for them.
Then, there’s this....
LEADER-SHEEP: LESSONS LEARNED FROM THE CRISIS
.....In contrast, weaker CEOs the sheep failed to make an impact and were forced out. For example, Carly Fiorina, a former CEO of Hewlett-Packard, was fired by her board of directors because of a weak leadership style and her failure to take control of the post-merger integration of Compaq, which H-P had bought. H-Ps share price was $52 when Fiorina started as CEO, but only $21 at the end of her tenure, a loss of over 60%. She has been branded one of the worst CEOs of all-time....

Carly was clearly a *sheep*.
Failures, liars and the deceitful are very popular D.C. And those suffering from battered voter syndrome just can't get enough!
Trump has never personally declared bankruptcy.
He has a hundred or so properties, each of which is separately incorporated so that a problem with one won't bring everything down. Four of his properties have gone through bankruptcy. The vast majority have not.
But I don't know if Carly is a sheep. Sheep follow and Carly is not a follower.
That said, she is not a leader.
As we all know, leaders put their troops' lives and their country's goals ahead of their own lives...and Carly puts her life first.
I think Carly is an opportunist. She wants power and position and money...and the hell with those who she had to step on to get it.
You can see it in her face...hence Trump's comment.
He knows the truth about Carly.
As a retired Wall St investment banker, I have known many people like Carly. She's greedy.
She will fade away because her truth will come out.
To add to that...Trump’s businesses are, by definition, start ups. That’s a he!! of a record for start ups.

Excellent video. We have to keep putting this stuff out there until she is doomed.
HP used to be a respectable company that made high quality equipment. They just produce run-of-the-mill stuff now.
