What a thankless task going through those checks. They need to put a statrment on the checks that they’ll be invalid after a certain amount of time. I’ve seen that before, and if they don’t cash them, the funds just go back to the general fund. Not sure about special cases, but I’m sure there are provisions made.

Anyway....I’m up WAY too late/early (?). That’s what happens when ya take a late nap. I think I’m getting my days and nights mixed up. LOL

Fall-ish weather out here but into the 80's this weekend. I hope to get together with son for some hanging out time this weekend. My daughter is vacationing in London with friends. Then off to Paris and Rome. She's quite the adventurous one.

Hellishly busy this week, with training and normal end-of-year stuff. Today is my retirement luncheon even though I'll be hanging around another 20 - 30 days (I've decided to delay retirement to train her; besides, I'll have another 2 paychecks I wouldn't have had…hehe)

We're waiting for someone to put in a computer for the new hire so that she can start with some hands-on as we have just been going through the tasks and what they mean. Now, she's an older woman & retired military, so I think that she will have the same work ethics as me (even though I'm not military) and will keep the office running nicely. She still has a lot to learn about "appropriated funds" but she's getting the concept. I think she'll do nicely.

I will be off to Virginny to visit son and family. Then return home early afternoon to just hang and maybe a few chores. Sunday I'm guessing throw something in crockpot and watch football.

My daughter is vacationing in London with friends. Then off to Paris and Rome. She's quite the adventurous one.

OMG! I guess you'll be worried silly.

My oldest granddaughter wants to work for her Masters and/or PhD in Montana and she wants to travel the world too, which causes me worries. And she's a lousy checker-inner.
