What the press idiots still don’t get is that Trump’s appeal did not start with, nor did it rise because of debates.
Or maybe they forget the last one where they pulled the same “Trump bombed” shtick only to then have to change their shorts when they could not back their BS up with real numbers?

Is there ever going to be a debate where the “moderators” ask the candidates about policy issues alone — and not focus on personalities?
I haven't seen any talking heads this morning, nor have I read any analysis of the debate. I did, however, see the entire debate last night, and....well....Trump was devastated last night. I don't know what will happen to his poll numbers (Trump's supporters so far seem immune to facts), but the guy looked WAY out of his depth last night.

I love the style of Trump, and wish we had more politicians on our side that would “throw bombs” at idiotic policies and politicians. With that said, this country has devolved into the world of “Idiocracy”. I keep waiting for the “because it has electrolytes” retort from someone.

I watched the entire debate and, at times, I felt it sounded like a school playground at recess. I knew all the low percentage candidates were out to get Trump and they didn’t disappoint. The moderators did their best to start the infighting with the “he said this about you so we would like your reaction” type “questions”. Good entertainment perhaps but short on substance.
I think Trump is nothing but a Showman. He is a Liberal and has always associated himself with the Democratic Party.
I actually thought it was all chest thumping without substance. But I loved the intense back and forth with him and Carly. That was some good TV. And it was probably what CNN wanted. They wanted to see the GOP tear at one another.
