If you just listened to the talking heads in the lamestream media this morning, you would think Trump was devastated last night in the second Republican debate

I haven't seen any talking heads this morning, nor have I read any analysis of the debate. I did, however, see the entire debate last night, and....well....Trump was devastated last night. I don't know what will happen to his poll numbers (Trump's supporters so far seem immune to facts), but the guy looked WAY out of his depth last night.

Trump is starting to sound like Kerry when he ran. I have a plan but you have to wait

Herman Cain 2012: “9-9-9 tax plan, I’m a businessman, 9-9-9 tax plan, Godfather’s Pizza.”

Donald Trump 2015: “I’m very rich, illegals, I know everybody, Billions, You’re ugly.”

Not much there, there.

I have to agree, and I’ve been sort of a resigned Trump supporter. Every time I heard him speak, his retorts were strained and really didn’t speak to political fact. He sounded like the bully in a schoolyard mocking or mimicking his victims and trying to cover his butt on every response.

Carly stole the show, IMO, even if she doesn’t stand a chance in the long run. Cruz was poised, but my wife, an unseasoned political observer, felt that Cruz sounded like a politician more than a heartfelt, real person.

I felt that Carson didn’t get enough time to speak, but his silence is an advantage for him, I believe.

I didn’t think anyone was devastated last night. These are the grades I gave them right toward the end of the show. I didn’t think anyone fell on their face, drooled, or showed up in a blue bunny suit. I thought Cruz, Carson, and Christie did best. I thought Kasich did worst, but even he got a B. They were all pretty good, really. I had gripes with each of them, but style, communication, gross errors, etc., I didn’t think anyone did poorly. They all came across well.

Grades

Paul. B+
RUBIO. B+
Huckabee B+
Cruz. A+
Fiorina. B+
Bush B+
Trump. B+
Christie. A-
Kasich. B
Carson. A-
Walker. B+

Hahaha. Trump’s supporters immune to facts? So far all I have seen post debate is the anti-Trump brigade out in force saying that a whole array of polls don’t count. Trump won every post debate online poll by a YUGE margin. That is a fact. But the ‘fact embracers’ say that is a lie/illusion; the real winner of the debate is the one fielding ~4% in the various polls.

It’s a whole other world for the Trump haters. Up is down and black is white.
