Casino - one casino - was what he HAD. Atlantic City is and was meant to be the Vegas of the East Coast. Wow, you really are a dense one, aren’t you?

My corrupt politicians? Mine?
You can go pound sand also!
I have supported the most Conservative, honest person available every election.
Call me a liar!
Got anything you want to say about my mother while your at it?

The whole reason I’m not supporting Trump is because he has abandoned my Conservative principles 3 times, and I will not support the lesser evil ever again!

My corrupt politicians, man that’s low!

Maybe you really are Democrat Media, you sound like one.

the reagan Library!!

He lied about the Reagan library? No. You're accusing him of giving money to Bush to get Casinos in Florida. In light of contrary evidence you've read in this thread, you have no claim.

You missed the point - Bush said he was trying to buy him so he could open a casino. No wonder this country is in such dire straits - people really are jug headed.

If you support Cruz, Cruz came out a long time ago for legal status for aliens. Notice that he didn't actually call Carson's position "amnesty." It's weird, but CNN apparently doesn't even know what Cruz stands for. If you're okay with granting legal status to illegal aliens, I call you Amnesty Pimp.

Go pound sand. He won on style and info conveyed. What he did, or didn’t say in 2013 has NO bearing on his performance tonight.

Rubio's amnesty came up during the debate by the CNN moderator. That was the moment he lost tonight.

Do you support amnesty?

I guess we have to wait till Snopes investigates this... it won’t look too good for Bush if it turns out that what he thought he remembered as Trump was some other casino representative.

For what it’s worth — Trump personally hasn’t had a lot of “luck” in the casino biz. Most of his construction/remodeling ventures have been great successes, but his one casino was an albatross that almost didn’t get built at all and when built was a far less deluxe outfit than he had envisioned. Almost as though God were saying “Donald, don’t do this” even though Donald’s pride was the only thing to which He could appeal at the time.

Trump Lies about Trying to Buy Jeb’s Support for Florida Casinos September 16, 2015

Trump appears to be the one making things up in this case. A report published by CNN earlier this month calls Bush, “the man who killed Trump’s casino dreams.” When Bush was running for governor of Florida in the late 1998, Trump held a $500 per head fundraiser for the gubernatorial candidate at Trump Tower and donated $50,000 to the Florida Republican Party.

A Bush aide told CNN that Trump never personally lobbied Bush to change casino gambling laws. But a Bloomberg investigation of the court battle between Trump and a former protégé, published in 2005, demonstrates that Trump did pursue a Florida casino project, and he did abandon it in the face of opposition from Governor Bush after he took office in 1999.

“When Florida Governor Jeb Bush nixed the idea, ‘Trump directed that the effort be terminated entirely,’” read court filings from Richard Fields, Trump’s former business partner. In that court battle, Trump never disputed that he’d pushed for a casino gambling venture. He took issue with the claim that he’d given Fields the green light to pursue it independently.

Does that fit your timeline?

You aren’t making much sense. Trump only had the Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, which started out gung ho, but went into bankruptcy. Now, you must understand - this was NOT a personal bankruptcy - but a chapter 11. This is what businesses use to restructure their debt - it doesn’t absolve them of the debt, but makes it easier to repay their creditors. He sold his plane and personal yacht to help repay the loans. But, whatever, your candidate is the only honest one in the bunch, (which I seriously doubt), and you refuse to see anything good or even read the truth about things. That doesn’t make you very honest when you have the facts in front of you and still spew lies, does it?

I guess you Trump supporters are now reduced to actually LYING to support your candidate.
You know as well as I do what Cruz’s position on amnesty is, He and Sessions defeated the Gang of 8 bill because of it. Did you hear Cruz attack anyone on that stage tonight?
No you didn’t.\
He probably didn’t know what to make of Carson’s comments on illegals. I’m still scratching my head over it.
The good ones can stay, but they all have to go work on farms, in 6 months? It doesn’t make sense.
Cruz has never called for amnesty. Find me one shred of proof!
He even told Rubio, that’s why he voted against his bill.

It’s pretty sad when you have to lie, and name call to support your candidate.

That sounds pretty “puny” as a Trump donation might go, whatever else it might mean He gave a lot more to some screaming liberals.

Can you explain what it would have been that Jeb Bush would have needed to do here. What is Florida statute about the matter. Does it prescribe a process that needs the governor’s assent?

As much as I love Cruz, I have to say Rubio won the debate on style, and information conveyed.

This election hinges on one thing and one thing alone. Immigration. There was only 1 candidate willing to build a wall and the same candidate wanted to implement an active deportation program. That's the guy that won the debate.

All the other chatter you heard or good points made are moot. We have no country if we don't control the border. And without a wall that will work to deter illegal immigration no matter who is in the White House then as soon as another Communist/Democrat gets in illegal immigration will start again full force.

Without a deportation program to show that we can get rid of large numbers of illegals as soon as an American loving President gets in office then the illegals will bide their time on the otherside of the border and make a run for it as soon as a Democrat gets in office. However, a successful deportation program will make them think twice, because they will know their stay is only temporary until a true American returns to the Presidency.

So you can nitpick over how someone appeared on foreign policy questions. But what difference will it make if in 8 more years we make the final slide into communist hell hole?

I wish it weren't true but there is only one candidate with a hardline stance on immigration so far and that is Donald trump the rest are "we can't deport", "We need comprehensive immigration reform" (ie. Amnesty followed by more illegal immigration when a Communist/Democrat gets in), or "We need to increase H1B visas". Fortunately or unfortunately that one Candidate is Donald Trump. He is also the only Candidate that has shown he can manipulate the media even when it's hostile to him. Therefore he is the only Candidate with the skills to actually get something done and side step media approval

By the way Chris Christie had some pretty good moments so am I supposed to forget the love fest he and Obama had after the Hurricane that pretty much stabbed Romney in the back and put the final straw in the collapse of the Romney campaign? I don't think so.
