Gov. Bobby Jindal, R-La., called on people to consider leaving the Republican Party if congressional Republicans fail to defund Planned Parenthood this fall.
"If we can't defund Planned Parenthood now, if we can't stand for innocent life after these barbaric videos, it is time to be done with the Republican Party," he said in reference to the controversial Planned Parenthood videos uncovered and released this summer.
"We defunded them in Louisiana, let's defund them in D.C.," said Jindal, who is number 11 in the Washington Examiner's presidential power rankings. "There's no point in being cheaper Democrats, no point for having a second liberal party. Start over with a new one that's at least conservative."
"Give Harry Reid and Pelosi credit, at least they fight for what they believe in," he added. "The president is a socialist but at least he says what he believes."
"If you want someone who will make incremental change, vote for someone else," he closed.
Hard to disagree.
Every day for the past 7 years I have dreamed of someone starting a party that could replace the Old Gelding Party.

If they’re not willing to shut down the government over the gutting of live babies and selling their body parts, then just what would they be willing to do it over?

I’d Like to note that Jindal DID NOT (Declined to) pose for the group photograph before the Prime Time Debate. All the rest of the second tier candidates were there.
Jindal they said remained in the gallery for the extra camera time.
He says what I think very often. He’s not tied to the congressional leadership. .
Though I agree with Jindal, we’re leaving in droves anyway and for a myriad of reasons.
