On last nights show Mark Levin was explaining how the Republican establishment has always gone after non-establishment candidates, pointing out how they tried to brutalize Reagan just as theyve tried to brutalize Cruz and now Trump. And the latest is that Bill Kristol is now trashing Trump, saying that hed rather support a third party candidate than Trump as the nominee.
So deep into his monologue on the topic, Levin mused that the CNN debate hosts should ask more nuanced version of the Republican nominee question Bret Baier asked in the Fox News debate, and they should ask it of all the candidates on stage:

Why not include the question in your posting?
So what’s the question? I don’t do clickbait.
And that question is? (Sorry, don’t feel like surfing to the site).
Irritating! What is the damn ??
Rand Paul would choke right there on stage. Bobby Jindal would lose his mind.
Here’s my one question for Trump and all other candidates:
What’s your criteria for appointing a Federal Judge and a Supreme Court Justice?
Will it be closer to the Scalia/Thomas/Alito mold, or the Kennedy/Roberts mold? or the Ginsberg/Breyer/Sotomayor/Kagan mold?
This is a very important because we expect a spate of retirements not far in the future. I don’t think anybody has asked that question of Trump or any other candidate at all.
The freedom guaranteed by the constitution will be at stake here.
They won’t ask that question...they don’t have the balls, they know the answer: NO, if Trump gets the nomination, they won’t support him....
So then we will know that they will support shillary or Sanders....
For that fact alone, this is the ONE question they should ask....
Already asked the question right after Bret Baier’s on the first debate night.
That would be ‘fair and balanced’ journalism, and let audience draw their own conclusions.
But no. It exposed FNC for what it is.
Worse than that, you have to play the video and actually listen to Levin. Ugh!
Has anyone asked Levin where his missing final inch to leave the GOP is?
So the GOP Establishment berated Trump and insisted that he sign a pledge to support the Republican nominee and not run on a third party, then they threaten a third party run if he’s the nominee. I’m sure he’ll have something to say about that bit of hypocrisy.
“If Trump is nominated, will you all support him as the Republican candidate for President?”
Very interesting question.
Cool.
The question was (to the other contenders): If Donald Trump were the nominee, would you support him in the general election?
Sure wish the question was included. Also, when I do go to the blog the question isn’t even included there. I have to evidently sit through the videos to find out what it is. Can’t do it at work. Bummer.
I’ll save everyone from having to click the link. The question is:
What is the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow?
Jijack?
Meant Hijack.
Oh well. You can jijack it too!
I’d like to see them asked to pick examples (with caveats) from people not on the court.
I think that would be most telling.
That's because all of politics, including the pundits, the advisors, etc. etc. form one big club, and it is membership in that club that gives these people the stature they crave. Anyone who represents a threat to the continued power/stature of this ‘club of the connected’ is going to be attacked by those who are part of this club - like Kristol.
