Sex with robots will be ‘the norm’ in 50 years, say experts. Men are considering the prospect with curiosity and a sense of humour. But academics and feminists are terrified and calling for them to be banned. Let me tell you why.

Who, or what, men have sex with is the basis of our civilisation. It is the driving force behind our greatest accomplishments. Men don’t compete for abstract pleasure: they compete to bag the best mate. The internet, the pyramids and the moon landings would not exist were it not for man’s desire to have sex with woman.

@ is true. 1 used to be. People in the older ranges always say robots in any capacity as fiction. People in the younger ranges always saw robots as soething desirable. Not in the purely sexual sense. But as a part of our existence.

Credit everyone from George lucas to Sstar Trek to William Gibson to Asimov. We were raised on robotic visions and they were not all Teriator.

I remember seeing a good buddy get taken to the cleaners in divorce court, oh, some 25 years ago or so. He wasn’t even left with enough to eat on after the alimony and child payments were added up let alone get an apartment or anything else.

I had tried marriage one time before that. After that I never did feel the need to get married again. I figure if I felt that strongly about a woman I could just go ahead and buy her a house and new car so I could get the financial pain over with and skip the whole marriage thing.

I agree. I’m married to a wonderful woman and have three daughters. I think that a solid, happy marriage is one of the greatest deterrents of feminism and the key to happiness for young ladies.

It’s ironic that feminists are objecting to sexbots. Feminists are the single biggest cause of the demand for sexbots.

Some man somewhere might be happy, and they aren't going to tolerate it.

Wow. There's a lot of sad commentary on this subject. I, too, take care of my hubby just like the above. 32 years together, 23 married. I hate the culture my sons are growing up in, but at least my oldest realizes there IS such a thing as true love, and looks up to his parents. I avoid women who bitch constantly to their friends about their husbands. Drives me nuts.
