the sheriff refused to investigate the fall of the drone, insisting that shooting a drone is not illegal.
It’s time to build the drone blind in Okla.
Good. Damn tree hugging hippies.
I love that the sheriff said it’s not illegal to shoot down drones.
But I don’t love the fact that people go out and shoot tame birds for fun. That’s just me, I guess.
Nope. No bias there.
“The annual fundraiser earns money for the senator as guests shoot at tame, banded pigeons as theyre thrown into the air.”
Imhofe should be ashamed of this! This isn’t hunting, it’s just killing for $hits and giggles.
LOL! I love it. Wonder if any of the shooters had a few rounds of the new “drone ammo” just for the occasion.
Stupid people obviously camouflaged their drone to look like a pigeon.

Get your Congressman on this. Every State s going to need a law allowing drones over private property to be downed in any manner necessary. Thee things are popping up everywhere.
That's good to know.
I had to chuckle. That’s the reason God made Oklahoma.
you can eat dead pigeon but a dead drone you cannot
Here in Texas a live pigeon shoot IS a state secret ...... dove season is still on.
Stay Safe !
Pigeons, nothing but flying rats! I’d shoot rats, tame, banded, or any other way. Can’t stand ‘em.
Ping..........
Sorta like bringing a knife to a gunfight.
“A spokesperson for S.H.A.R.K. also said the sheriff refused to investigate the fall of the drone, insisting that shooting a drone is not illegal.”
And you don’t even need a license or migratory bird stamp!
If this is like a normal pigeon shoot, these are wild pigeons trapped off of some building roof or barn and they are turned loose to be exterminated like the winged rats they are.
I am not opposed to sport hunting but what Inhofe and his ilk do at this event is throw a pigeon up in the air and then shoot it. What they do is no better the what the dentist did with Cecil the lion.
Killing for food of sport is one thing but hunts like these I have no respect for.
There’s a big difference between a pigeon and a tame pigeon. I seriously doubt anyone hand fed these pigeons from hatching day on up to flight readiness, so to claim they are “tame” is silly.
