Sunday on Fox News Channels Media Buzz, Republican presidential candidate Dr. Ben Carson said the Republican Party has in the past neglected African-American community but because of the recent chaos in race relation brought on by unrest in Ferguson, Baltimore and other cities the GOP has a very excellent opportunity, to reach out and help get business and industry and academia to invest in people.

If the man or woman is not the candidate of choice he/she is mind controlled by Karl Rove, a race baiter or a paid up member of La Raza. Just the way it is these days.
Nah—I don’t think that’s it. NH is socially liberal, but “tolerant” of traditional abortion, etc., positions. It’s the leading with religion thing that I think torpedoes some candidates there.
.
More pandering to racism.
.
Go Home Ben!
.
I’ve just about had enough of Carson.
Then you are unfamiliar with the current electorate in NH which voted for a socially liberal Marxists by 6 and 9 points in consecutive elections.
You know what was my first skirmish with the ben Carson fools on FR?
It was a video of him on the View and he was forced’ by Whoopi to answer if he apologized to obamatard after the infamous breakfast prayer. He did on a very specific time in the video and the rest of these clowns went after me saying he didn’t.
It was clear he said “I did” and they were in hilarious denial...
“Carsons another Colin Powell plain and simple.”
Agree, same pattern. If you remember, virtually EVERYTHING Conlin Bowell said in the political world was an attack on Republicans (things like “the GOP needs to soften up a bit at the edges”, etc.), all the while claiming to be a Republican.
Carson is done, he needs to go back to the medical journal and use his brilliance where it will improve the country and improve humanity.
“When asked if he would have shot Brown if he were in Wilsons shoes, Carson said: Its hard to say. I probably, knowing who he was, I probably just would have arrested him.”
What Carson is saying, whether he knows it or not, was that Wilson murdered Brown IN COLD BLOOD.
Does Carson REALLY BELIEVE THAT? Might Trump ask him on Wednesday?
“Herman Cain 2.0. When will the GOP lose its fascination with unqualified tokens?
(Cain at least wasn’t open-borders Amnesty traitor)”
Agree - Cain was actually BETTER than Carson.
When, in the annals of human history, did the “black communitte’s” fate and behavior become the sole responsibility of the GOP and/or conservatives alone?
For the most part, the blacks are democrats, and follow the democrat line of thought without question. It is the democrats who encourage their thought and beliefs, and defend their right to complain, riot, and commit crimes by not requiring anything of them except to vote democrat in every. Election.
I’ve been waiting on Carson’s “coming out party” since he first emerged on the political scene, and it seems his exuberance at “surging in the polls” has sparked him into dropping his guard.
We’ve already had a black candidate who pretended to be what he isn’t and we see how that 8 years gas gone. Most seem to be infused with “victim hood” from somewhere deep within, and it eventually bubbles to the top.
yes, he’s a surgeon who is praised for separating conjoined twins, that’s great, but, what’s wrong with America isn’t medical, and the only fix is to keep milquetoast leaders out of the White House. Next to Bush, I think Carson is the worst candidate on the ticket.
He has proven one thing, when the chips are down, they’ll always, always, pull the race card.
West would have been the ticket hard to stop. Not Carson. This is precisely why the GOPe derailed him early in his efforts.
I’m talking about the GOP primary.
Yep—exactly.
“I don’t think Carson’s supporters are listening to anything he says or learning about where he stands...How else to explain his consistently strong polling?”
Actually it was a relatively recent bump that started with his joke at the end of the August debate. From there, he climbed a bit and then the GOPe began pushing him, with the goal to stop Trump and then, of course, dump Carson for Jeb/Rubio/Walker.
The media, also wanting to stop Trump, began pushing Carson - but VERY FEW Republicans knew a damn thing about him other than he was black, could deliver a joke, and has a great life story. For Republicans who don’t trust Trump, many of them here, Carson seemed like a safe place to park their support.
But when you read the comments on this thread, you can tell a number of the people are very disappointed in Carson, meaning that they were liking him in the past - but now that they know him better, he’s just another guy whose political positions have been molded by the media, as he was likely too busy rewiring brains to have enough time to develop them on his own.
Bottom line, his numbers will quickly fade...and most of that support will go to Trump.
Complete BS.
The GOP has thrown 4 of last 6 elections in a futile attempt to court blacks.
Hell, many republican voters crossed over to vote for Obama to ‘help’ blacks
Ya know—some days I find myself just walking around shaking my head at all of the stupidity some people show ...
“West would have been the ticket hard to stop.”
So we think. But a lot of people here, me included, are having a tough time NOT prejudging people on race or ethnicity. I base it on both political disappointments and personal disappointments (including double-crossings from people that I really thought I could trust).
West will have a VERY HIGH bar to overcome, thanks to his predecessors, at least for my support in a Primary.
A man can be a brilliant brain surgeon but not have one of his own.
No more presidents with hyphenated nationalities.
Ahhh, it’s Michael Steele again
