Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson on Friday apologized for questioning fellow primary challenger Donald Trumps spiritual faith, drawing further contrast on how top GOP candidates handle the front-running Trump's calculated and often withering attacks.
I think I did slip, and thats why I apologized, Carson said on Fox News On the Record with Greta Van Susteren.

And Rand, too.
Exactly.
No wait. That would make him the sec of a non existent dept. Surgeon General perhaps..?
Carsons slide begins.

He showed he is one of “those” that think people should be able to quote bible verses, so that lost points with me.
I was raised as a Christian and read the bible when I was much younger. I never memorized the various verses or the books. The bible DID provide for passing down morals.
Since the bible books were written hundreds of years after Jesus and were based on lore passed down through generations, it’s difficult for me to accept it all as truth, anymore than Greek mythology.
The old “I’m holier than thou” never works. It always backfires.... Always.
Even Jesus himself didn’t come right out and say it.
Hard to criticize something that probably isn't there.
I see him as sec HHS.

That’s where I would place Carson, too. The Surgeon General position is only a ceremonial position that has outlived its usefullness for the most part.
I can’t recall any major changes in our health care system that has resulted from a SG’s dictate. Plus, the HHS and CDC don’t report to the SG, so whatever he/she says doesn’t matter.
Oh just shut up, Carson.
follow Perry’s graceful exit before you further embarrass yourself.
