A Pennsylvania barber shop has been fined after refusing to cut a woman’s hair.
Barbiere in Washington, Pennsylvania, is described as “a high end Gentleman’s Barber Shop.”
On March 11, a woman, Diamond Pecjak of Crucible, walked into the shop after booking an appointment online for herself and her boyfriend, according to the Observer-Reporter Newspaper.
After being told no, Pecjak filed a complaint with the Pennsylvania Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs against the shop.
The shop was fined $750 over the incident.
Barbiere’s owner, John Interval, said he didn’t know he was compelled to service both genders and doesn’t expect an upswing in female customers anytime soon.
"I didn't really consider it so much a discrimination thing as it's a barbershop, you know," Interval said.
Interval said he will not formally contest the fine, but he disagrees with the penalty.
“It’s infringing on our environment. Guys come here as a kind of a little getaway, to be around other guys,” said Interval, while clipping a customer’s beard as Frank Sinatra tunes played on the stereo. “My hands are tied. They are forcing me to do this and telling me how to do my business.”
He said the shop recommended salons and even offered to pay for Pecjak’s haircut elsewhere to compensate for the inconvenience.
Nearly 100 supporters of Barbiere signed a petition in opposition of the board’s ruling.
Pecjak, a cosmetologist, wanted a fade, a trendy men’s haircut. She declined to comment on her complaint, on her attorney’s advice.

The prohibition was applied mainly to white male controlled services. Anyone who isn’t a white male can, pretty much, bar anyone he or she wants.
We need to hear from all the candidates about this. Or the frontrunners anyway. Let’s see who understands the Constitution and is ready to defend it.
I reckon the publicity will be good for the barber shops’ business, and galvanize the community to resist the tyranny of the left.
We all must resist on an individual basis, and not sit back and wait for a politician or a judge to do it.

When I was in NJ, a friend of a friend of a friend opened an old school barbershop. It was a MAN zone... and the proprietor stated simply that it was a place where guys could escape from the typical BS of having some nitwit chippy snipping hair and and rubbing her tits all over you.
If there ever was a FR barbershop, this place was it. Gun friendly, hot rod friendly, tattoo artist hangout, bikers, rat rodders... and you could get the old school steaming hot towel and straight razor shave. I think there was a bottle of Hoppe’s No. 9 on the shelf for aftershave.
I miss that.

She was educated at an Education Center. Code word that she flunked out of school, and had to be pampered to get out of bed and at least breath for the day.
They all provide women a haven, safe from micro-aggressions, loud male voices, rape, etc.
I’m sure a quick background check on this so called “woman” would reveal that she has probably tried things like this before.

Why not charge $750.00 for a women's cut? Talk about free advertising when THAT gets around.
Another possibility:
Make friends with an amiable Muslim, or even one who can act the part.
Have him be “on call”. Take lunch before the last head when you see Miss Wannamancut in the waiting area.
Then have “Mohammad” (acting as barber) state in no uncertain terms that he will not touch, much less cut the hair of said woman, and that she is dressed like a whore (regardless of what she is wearing), that the Prophet declares that she should be accompanied by a husband or male relative if she insists on being in public, and that she should leave before she brings further dishonor on herself. If she still insists, have him bring out the clippers with a 3 foot extension rod and see if she stays in the chair to see what he does next.
Alternatively, you can bring in a woman to portray a female Muslim, in hijab at least, have her roundly insult the woman in question in a borderline vulgar manner, speaking Arabic every third sentence, while the swarthy bearded men waiting for a trim stare at her . . . cold and hard.

What do you want to bet SHE charges more to cut a woman’s hair than she does to cut a man’s hair?
It is common practice for many hair salons to charge more to do a female’s hair cut, and this practice was going on when a good percentage of guys sported long hair.
got news for this guy. Yes some women do go to barbershops. Because some women want simple haircuts they don’t want to over pay for. There is no such thing as a “gentleman’s barbershop” he should have just given her the hair cut.
Got news for you. Given how much beauty parlors charge for everything they’ve got no problem taking some guy’s money for a Brazilian. Sure, they’ll think he’s a total weirdo, but a weirdo they’re charging over $100.
That bolsters her case, as she knows what she wants and why she wants it.
Cosmetologists would know that if they wanted a precise cut, a barbershop would be the place to get it.
Should’ve said it was a gay male shop. We all know the rules change depending such things.
