“The U.S. government has been hacked on numerous occasions, compromising even the most sensitive of information,” Correct the Record said. “Anyone who attempts to argue that the contents of Hillary Clinton’s email would have been more secure on a government server must contend with these facts.””

If this were the reason Clinton had given when the story first broke she may have gotten away with it. Now? No one buys it.

You know, if only she had used an Al Qaeda-supplied server.

They never would have looked there.

“The U.S. government has been hacked on numerous occasions, compromising even the most sensitive of information,”

I'm told the network that handles highly sensitive information is "air-gapped", meaning there is no electronic interface between it and the public network. Someone can copy data to some sort of portable media and then physically carry it to a computer on another network, but it cannot be "hacked" from the outside.

On the great STUPIDEST THINGS EVER WRITTEN LIST, Correct The Record zooms straight to the top with their latest comments.

I believe that Hillary was The Secretary Of State.

That is the chief executive position for the State Department.

That means that she was responsible for the communications security of all her communications.

Now, they are going to say that the system she was in charge of was no good? She couldn’t fix it?

With a reach like that, these people should be playing First Base.

And she wants to be the Chief Executive for our nation?

She couldn’t sharpen pencils without stabbing four people in their eyes.

The super-PAC also detailed the security safeguards Clinton used to protect the server.

Really? So then, her server was *so* secure that this non-State Dept. entity knows the details of its security safeguards?

Astonishing !!!

There you go, Hillary. Maybe a crock will work better than a lie, and it’s new, creative, so different from the same old lie approach.

Yeah. That’s the ticket.

She can’t begin to say her house had anything like proper physical security for a SCIF. Anyone in the game will tell you physical access equals total access. They only think it wasn’t hacked because who ever got to it was good. Then the dopes went and wiped it, conveniently erasing any traces that might have helped ID who ever was listening in. Babe’s in the woods at the Intel game. Talk about the JV.

One did not have to waste time hacking her server in the bathroom. Just send a check to the Clinton Foundation.

The private server was safer because the Rainbow Unicorns made it so.

Hillary and her ilk are trying to confuse the main issue here. The fact is that no OPEN interconnected network (internet) is allowed to carry classified information, period. To claim or imply that classified information can be ‘safely’ transmitted or ‘safer’ on a home server is just outright diversion.

There are special set-aside networks and encryption equipment for that sort of thing. Something that would have not been approved for her ‘home use’ without raising some very serious red flags.

The Clinton server was so safe that the guy who installed and configured it pled the 5th so he wouldn’t have to describe the awesome job that he did.

How strange that Madeline Albright, Colin Powell, Condoleezza Rice, and the ever-incompetent John Kerry have had no such issues. Hmmm...
