Maury County, Tennessee is in the heart of the Bible Belt. So its understandable why the local church ladies got all shook up when they discovered that school children had been forced to declare, There is no God but Allah. Seventh graders at Spring Hill Middle School spent three weeks covering Islam in a Social Studies class enraging some parents who say the lessons crossed the line into indoctrination and proselytization.
I am not pleased that my 12-year-old was taught the Islamic conversion prayer, parent Brandee Porterfield told me. Could you imagine the outcry from liberal activists if the students had been forced to write Jesus is Lord?
Joy Ellis was a bit fired up, too. She discovered the Islamic lessons after examining her daughters class work. I was very angry that my child, my Christian child, was made to profess that Allah was the only God, she told me. According to the lessons, students were instructed to write the Shahada There is no God but Allah; Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah. Students also learned the five pillars of Islam.
That was crossing the line between teaching the culture and teaching them the Islamic faith, Porterfield told me. This is not teaching. This is indoctrination...

Parents have reason to be concerned. Though action on it might be highly unlikely or, at least a few years in the future, it is a legal-in-shariah complete conversion to Islam and any apostasy from that conversion is punishable by death whenever the neighboring paynim get around to it.
Get YOUR children out of the government indoctrination centers - NOW!
Not just the Islamic apostasy, there’s the question of any Christian children having renounced Christ as well.
I think during the unit on Christianity, they should have all students recite the Sinner’s Prayer... That would be okay, right? That would help the Muslim children better understand Christianity, right? Isn’t that what they claim about making kids recite the Shahada?
Except Common Core is being pushed by the Bushes.
Had ENOUGH Yet ?
The “authorities” are not going to protect us, our children, or our country. There are no consequences for their failure. There should be.
There is no Allah but Satan, and Muhammad was his murdering pedophile.

allah is a false deity made up by a pedophile
The god of Islam is NOT the God of the Bible.
But it is important to understand that Allah is the Arabic word for God.
Arabic Christians and Jews used the Arabic word for God long before English speaking people became Christians.
The translation of Hebrew and Greek scriptures into Arabic all use the title Allah to refer to God.
Arabs can escape the lies of Islam and receive Christ through the message of the gospel. When that message is proclaimed in their native tongue, they are introduced to the one true “Allah”, who is not the god of Islam.
Muhammad is not the prophet of the true God. The true God is the Father of Jesus Christ.
My grandson was taught about Islam back in 1998 in Social Studies when he was in the 6th grade, before Common Core. I was upset that they taught about Islam and not about Christianity. I was naïve back then as to the full impact of Islam's religion.
See 33.
That is why it is prefered to call God by HIS REAL name, YAWEH.
AMEN.
Sure, I would say that Arab Christians would need to be cognizant to make that distinction. The Allah that that world’s 1.6 Billion Muslims believe in and proselytize is the Moon God of the Nabataeans. The distinction is as clear as Baal and Yahweh.
‘Um, isn’t this illegal under your Constitution, or am I wrong?
“That is why it is prefered [sic] to call God by HIS REAL name, YAWEH [sic].”
Even the name of God, Yahweh, is a translation from Hebrew to English. It was originally written with 4 Hebrew letters without vowels; so the vowel sounds are assumed. The first Hebrew letter is pronounced somewhere between an H and a J. More could be said as to why His name is also often translated as Jehovah.
But more to the point, nowhere in the Greek scriptures (New Testament or Septuagint) is the name Yahweh used. God is identified as the Father of Jesus Christ.
The words used for God’s title in Hebrew and Greek are different from one another. This is PROOF from the very words of scripture that God’s title does not need to be restricted to a certain pronunciation in one specific language. God has made it clear in scripture that He will save some people out of every nation, people, tribe, and LANGUAGE.
God does not require a person to learn to speak Hebrew, Greek, or English in order to be saved. The message of salvation is to be preached in all the world, to every nation and every language.
For Arab speakers, God’s title (in Arabic) is “Allah”. I do not refer to God as Allah because I speak English. But many Arabic Christians pray and address God as “Allah” because that is His title in their language.
To insult “Allah” because of the misappropriation of God’s Arabic title by Muslims, is like insulting the name of Jesus because of a Mexican criminal who is named “Jesus”.
“The distinction is as clear as Baal and Yahweh.”
In terms of theology this is true. But Muslims are NOT using a title for Baal. They are not claiming to follow and worship Satan. They are claiming to follow and worship the one true God. They do not know who the one true God is. Christians do. But we do not denigrate the title of God because Muslims are misusing it. We expose the errors. Insulting God out of ignorance is NOT exposing errors. It is conceding that in there is some other God when there is not.
I have repeatedly advocated caution on this forum, because well meaning Christians are denigrating the Arabic title for God ignorantly. They should be aware that there are Arabic Christians willing to put everything at risk for their faith, and these same Christians treat the title “Allah” with respect.
I am not advocating respect for Islam. I am advocating caution when it comes to the word “Allah” because it means different thing to different people. There is no other title for God in Arabic. God divided the languages and has reserved this title for Himself in Arabic. To denigrate the Arabic title for God is wrong, even in ignorance. To continue to do so when you know better is inviting judgment from the one true God, the Father of Jesus Christ, who has said He will NOT be mocked.
