CNN Senior Political Reporter Nia-Malika Henderson reports that Donald Trump is improving his standing with Republican women voters: For any other presidential candidate, making off-color and arguably sexist comments about a female competitor would likely result in an insurmountable problem with women voters.

The women, they admire strength in a man. And money doesn’t hurt.
Are these results taken after “face-gate”?
The media, pols, and the entertainment industry live on another planet. Real women like Alpha males, can-do guys who accomplish what they set out to do. It’s in our DNA, survival of the fittest.
>> Are these results taken after face-gate?
Don’t you mean “personality-gate”? ;-)
OMGOSH....didn’t the media and talking heads just tell us that ‘women’ aren’t liked by Trump????
That he doesn’t understand ‘women’ issues; he calls them names, and is mean to them....
OMGOSH stop the presses....!!!
Found this link on Hot Air .... very interesting take on some of Trump’s more controversial comments, including Fiorina. I think the guy is on to something ....

Excerpt from link:
A kill shot is designed with one necessary element to distinguish it from a mere insult. The kill shot has to put words to what you were already thinking in a vague sense. If you disagree with the main idea in the linguistic kill shot, it has no power. Trump only picks kill shots you agree with on some visceral level. For example
Jeb Bush does look low energy. We agree as soon as Trump says it, even if we had never had a concrete thought about it until he voiced it.
Ben Carson does seem too nice for the difficult job of staring down foreign leaders. We agree.
And Im going to come right out and agree that Fiorinas face was bothering me. But I never would have voiced that opinion without Trump going first because it sounds terrible. I wouldnt want to be associated with the thought. [Note to Outragists: The first sentence in this paragraph is the one to take out of context. You are welcome.]
When I say Fiorinas face bothers me, I am not referring to her looks in general. She looks fit, stylish, and attractive to me. But she does have what I call the angry wife face when she talks politics. Guys, you know the face, which is usually paired with a tone of disapproval. It is your greatest nightmare. It is the face that says you did not do a good job, at whatever.
The outragists in the press will report Trumps comments as sexism. And by todays standards, I agree with the classification. But what every adult male who has ever had a relationship with a woman saw was Trump putting words to their own personal nightmares: That face.
Trump will never win over voters who would be incensed by his sexist comments. But he can stir-up that crowd and make them carry his message to the rest of the world without paying a penny for ads.
But but...in a Politico article it interviews two so called GOP women who think he is a “pig”.
Women frequently throw catty insults like that at one another. No doubt many of them agree with Trump.
Perhaps this is a rebellion by a lot of women against the namby-pamby, pantywaist men that comprise so much of the political class today.
I think it is refreshing to both men and women to have a candidate that does not apologize for every little non-PC statement the media howls at.
They can comment all they want about HIS hair. He’s a man but say anything about CarlI and it’s sexist
And Democrat women, too, I imagine.
He's got the biggest you-know-what - what else were they expecting?
Exactly and that is Trump’s appeal. No more mambie pambies. Course, the libs love girly boys which explains Obama.
Women love the bad boy and dump the nice, low engergy guy.
I would like to see a poll of Pubby women on Carly. I imagine she is not a fave. Also Pubby women like a man that clanks when he walks - that was part of W’s appeal which Jeb lacks. He is effeminate.
No, they were taken after the diarrhea of the mouth-gate.
Seems many folks what to play...
Well clearly these are not really women...
Call it the Putin effect.
It’s in the DNA. It can be repressed but that just causes worse problems.
Yeah, I hear that The Donald gives good...wallet.
But, still, I wish Trump would not say things like that.
