The Right Scoop ^ | Sep 10, 2015 | Mark Levin

Posted on 09/11/2015 6:56:06 AM PDT by george76

Mark Levin eviscerated Mitch McConnell tonight, telling him that he’ll have blood on his hands for the rest of his life over this Iran Deal, and so would the Republican Party because of his unconstitutional leadership. Levin said McConnell is worse than Obama because at least we know who Obama is, as McConnell pretends to be someone he clearly is not.

...

Levin’s opening segment on the horrible Iran Deal that essentially passed today because of Republicans like McConnell who sold out

Again, obviously not. Because the worst Dem was relentlessly assisted by the ‘better’ lesser evil Pub to make this happen. I fail to see the improvement of an R destroying America over a D doing so.

Now if you believe it’s better to have death from within, so be it.

Theres that yes. But look where they get their power.

There’s your problem. People that willfully justify evil to elect known liars just because they can ‘win’.

Lookie what that ‘won’. Hopenadchange isn’t conservative nor American. It’s liberal.

Every single one of them are on the same team. Do not let their words mislead you...instead judge them by their actions (the things the actually accomplish). Some in here have a very difficult time differentiating between words and actions. They think a good speech = winning.

Why wouldn’t people that willingly elected evil be happy at the success of those they elected? And why wouldnt non KY supporters also be happy? They got the evil they voted for.

KNOWINGLY. MITCH TOLD THEM HE WOULD WORK WITH OBAMA BEFORE THE ELECTION.

The GOP just helped the Dem give nukes to Iran.

How many GOP leaders stood up and publicly referred to this as treason—giving aid and comfort to the enemy?

Now let's not always see the same hands.

I find it hard to know what happened in all this..
Specifically what could McConell have done and what did he not do to block this?
What was the rationale for the Corkin Bill?

I get the feeling Obama had this in the bag long ago
and that Republicans were greatly out maneuvered

If the Republican agenda really is to let Obama do what he wants what is their motivation?

Quite possibly McConnel will give the leadership back to the Dems with Durbin, since Reid is retiring. Durbin make Reid look like a wannabe. The GOPe has twice as many seat up for election as the Dems, but their demonstrating they don’t want the majority.

Which shows you why no American should be electing lesser evils. This is what it gets them. Dunno why some here are so blind to basic cause and effect. But thy are.

Proud of it too it seems.

It won’t sadden me when a lot of these so called “leaders” — republicans and democrats — start dying off. Natural causes, of course — lighting strikes, flesh eating viruses, swallowed by a sinkhole, etc. It wouldn’t sadden me. In fact, I might would go buy some fireworks to have a celebration. They wouldn’t be missed.

—— what could McConell have done-—

Rather than accept the 60 vote requirement he could force the Democrats to actually come to the podium and filibuster. the speeches would designate the goats that are deserting-s America and Israel for Iran

The Rats should be made to attempt to stop the effort by exhausting hours of pure blather.

The GOP just helped the Dem give nukes to Iran.

The battle to prevent Obama from making Iran a nuclear power was lost back in May when the Corker-Cardin Bill passed with huge majorities in both parties.

The bill allowed Obama to treat the Iran treaty as a non-treaty with the blessing of the senate and house.

It passed in the Senate 98 to 1.

Only one senator had the guts and wits to vote against it - that is republican Tom Cotton from Arkansas.

One week later the bill passed in the House with 400 votes in favor and 25 against.

Just as a reminder:

Senate: There republicans hold a majority of 54 vs. 46 dems and 2 independents.

House: There is a majority of 246 republicans vs. 188 democrats (1 vacancy at present)

The republican majorities in the senate and house are like the skinny guy on the beach in the old Charles Atlas ads.

Every day beach bully Obama kicks sand in their faces and every time they make empty promises that they won't let it happen again.

Yup. And thats why he did not make them. Because they could not keep the farce going if he had.

I agree with ya there and I kept wondering about the nuclear option of blocking a filibuster...(H Reid used it on Obama care vote) why not put that into the game?

I would say the battle was lost the nanosecond that the two man that campaigned on working with Barry were elected and fulfilled their campaign promise.

Everything after that election has been 100% in support/protection of the Obama Agenda. But had the two been replaced by powerless freshman dems or no name repubs, none of this would have happened to begin with. Because the two most powerful leaders in Republican politics would have been out of their leadership/political jobs.

Simple math IMO. And I see no errors in the history of it.
