I went to the Coconino County Fair this weekend in northern Arizona. Watching folks toss a beanbag at balloons instead of darts, someone remarked, “Since darts are politically incorrect these days...” Maybe she was joking, but I looked at someone and asked, “Why are darts politically incorrect?” I was told, because darts can hurt someone.
The problem here folks, is the world is now run by Flower Children. They are in power now and they are literally ruthless in their idiocy.
Dogs did nothing to warrant that insult.
Only half in jest, because I agree with Palin here, but dogs?
Dogs have a lot more going on that these people do.
This is a dog whistle problem I guess.

I used to live in a very urban neighborhood before I could save up enough money to flee the area. This approx 10 yr old kid who knew better, opened his fly and peed like an animal on my front flower bed.
I came out and told him he could have asked to use my bathroom or walked one block to his mom/auntie’s house where he lived. I added “only dogs pee on lawns”
He went back and told his auntie that I called him a dog. It was ON! His big ol’ welfare queen auntie showed up at my doorstep and it immediately became a race thing.
After explaining what I had actually said, I closed the door and stated “We’ll just have to agree to disagree then.”
She ranted and raved and told me this was “her neighborhood” and my front lawn was public property (it wasn’t). Told me I could move anytime I wanted to (nope, I actually OWNED the house, silly me) whilst she was a lifetime Section 8 renter.
By the next year I had saved up enough money to get the hell out. Ended up renting out my old house because frankly, no one would buy it for what I owed on it. The whole “hood” threw rocks at our moving van as we pulled out of the driveway. Nice send off.
I honestly believe I saved my children’s future by doing so.
Geez. This is a stretch even for the Goebbelists over at Mediaite.

Using the term “call of the dogs” is an idiom which had nothing in particular to do with classifying human beings as “dogs”. It means to stop people you have influence over from being aggressive or misbehaving. The author of this article has identified himself as either an idiot or dishonest or both.
Palin didn’t call anyone a “dog.” She used a standard metaphorical expression.
