An alarming majority of Jews living in Europe today are afraid to reveal their Jewishness, a survey carried out by the Rabbinical Centre of Europe (RCE) published on Tuesday found.
The data indicates a severe erosion in the sense of security felt by European Jews.
The survey found that over 85% of Jews in Europe do not bring their children to synagogue on Rosh Hashana to hear the shofar, out of fear of anti-Semitism.
According to Rabbi Menachem Margolin, head of the European Jewish Association, "rabbis and community leaders from all over Europe report that more and more Jews refrain form publicly identifying with Jewish.
This presents an existential threat to European Jewry, Margolin noted.
"Most young people whose parents avoid identifying as Jews do not retain a connection to the Jewish people and their homeland," he explained. "This trend threatens the Jews of Europe and could later become a strategic problem for Israel."

With the ongoing invasion of Europe by muslims, who can blame them? The Christians ought to be worried as well. The Europeans who opened the gates to barbarians have lost their minds.

They need to leave now , not next Tuesday , not next month ,now . They need to go to Israel before it is to late and they are trapped . This new influx of muslims pouring into Europe is not there for freedom or to live in peace .
It is going to get much worse in Europe very quickly and people there are not going to speak up and stop this influx.
At the rate we are loosing our freedoms in this country it won’t be long before we start seeing stuff like this here .
Obama has been bringing them in constantly since he took office and look at all the leftist calls to bring in more .
Only this time it will include Christians as well. Especially here in the US. The lazy dullards in Occupy Wall Street kicked anti-Semitism off here a couple years ago
About two weeks ago, I got a warning (really phrased as an order, even though I am technically not in their military) not to wear my kippa off base in Scotland, not because they gave a hoot about me particularly, but they didn’t want the bad press if I was attacked.
