Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump stated that while Theres only so much we can do. We have to fix our own country the US should help as much as possible with the European refugee crisis and possibly let some refugees into the US on Fridays broadcast of MSNBCs Morning Joe.
Trump was asked about the European refugee crisis and, Should we be letting some of those people into this country?
He answered, So horrible on a humanitarian basis when you see that. Its like incredible whats going on. But, you know, we have so many problems. And the answer is possibly yes, Cokie, possibly yes.

I actually find it rather amusing the animosity that some on here have for Trump. It isn’t like he has any authority to do anything about policy - he might have an opinion - but, then again - he isn’t in a position to really do anything about this mess. And, make no mistake - this is a huge mess. Now, some of the other candidates are in Congress and have a much better perch and position to do something. Cruz and Rubio are both supporters of taking in the refugees - Having said that - we are a long way from the first ballot cast to rumble like this. But, I guess it’s a slow news day and we need some entertainment.
I don’t know if anyone has asked this question yet but how do we verify that they are Christian?
Sorry, but "possibly" is equivocation.
And your defense of Trump is an excuse -- as so many defenses of Trump's equivocations are.
There are many reasons to like what Trump is saying and has done on the campaign trail. At the same time, there are many questions concerning his suitability as a conservative nominee.
Because Obama WANTS it.
That I don't care for your "reason" does not make me shortsighted. On the contrary; it is those like you who characterize as "shortsighted" those who may disagree with you who are shortsighted. Get over yourself. I've been posting in this many years longer that you and I have done so w/o your advice. I don't need your approval, either.
Have a nice day.
Offer them bacon at the border?
Possibly!
Happens every election, people got to have their fun.
Yes, I agree...about 1/2 dozen.

FYI....Greta has been tweeting about the *plight* of these *refugees*, for a few days, now. I think she must be catching grief. She’s now posted a poll....lol.
Poll - should USA accept some Syrian refugees - click to vote in poll

86% say NO.
Four years ago, Trump toyed with running, and he described what he thought the problems were then, in exactly the same way he does now. I don’t believe he mentioned immigration, but I may have missed it. He has been consistent on everything else.
His change on abortion parallels exactly the same experience an acquaintance described to me about 15 years ago, except in this case it was his own child he wanted to abort, but didn’t. The thought now torments him.
I read the full quote provided on this site. I can’t detect any change in his immigration stance. Maybe you can show us where he waffled. He kept qualifying: “possibly, but we need to fix our own problems” etc. If you were on a job interview, and the employer said “possibly, but...” would you feel good about the interview?
The Trumplings have their fingers firmly planted in their ears and their eyes closed to contrary info....no bad words about Our Savior The Donald allowed.
Then read the article. Is that a problem for you?
Read specifically where Trump said he would "possibly" allow these people in. My position is he should have just said no. So should Cruz. So should anyone who wants the conservative vote.
You've noticed? It is strange, similar to how libs defend Obama.
Good.
Let’s hear NO from everyone else too, including Bonehead Merkel (baseball fans will appreciate that one)
See if they are willing to eat bacon or pork.
There was nothing in the answer that approves of Obama's nation-destroying (in fact globally, civilization-destroying) policies. What he did was acknowledge the possibility that there might be an extreme case.
And who would you vote for? It' has to be someone who isn't owned by the cheap-labor express and someone who can inspire the nation and can win. None of the others can do that.
Look, by the time any votes are cast this situation will have already been handled by our great, feckless, competent leader. It will be out of our hands by 2016 - and that’s the truth of the matter. There will be many more issues that arise which we can’t do anything about either. And, none of us should ever look at a mere mortal man - regardless of whether it’s Trump, Cruz, or Walker as our savior - they are just as imperfect as the rest of us. This country is in a mess and I have no illusions that it will be changed overnight by a new president.
You're right on mark South40. good posting today, thanks
